Today SpaceX is actively developing the technologies to make this possible, with the ultimate goal of enabling human life on Mars.\nMATERIAL TRANSFER DRIVER - 2ND SHIFT\nRESPONSIBILITIES:\nLoad, drive, and unload manufacturing, test, and support items within a 2.5-mile radius of the SpaceX campus\nSafely load trucks at pickup points and transport truckload to destination following the rules of the road at all times\nSafely load and unload trucks at designated drop off points\nForklift use will be the primary method of loading and unloading trucks\nEnsure truckload contents are secure for safe and undamaged delivery to destination\nScan barcodes meeting business WMS requirements\nContribute to Receiving, Material Handling, and Inventory operations within the Distribution Center and across SpaceX as needed\nReview all documentation for correct items to be delivered as well as precise delivery area\nMaintain all applicable documents (paperwork) related to items being delivered to ensure they are not damaged during delivery\nMonitor service records of the vehicle when driving and report all problems to manager immediately\nMaintain cleanliness of vehicle and refueling when low\nBASIC QUALIFICATIONS:\nHigh school diploma or equivalency certificate\n2+ years of driving experience\n1+ years of experience operating a forklift and/or material handling motorized vehicles and equipment\nPREFERRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:\nMaterial handling and stake bed driving experience (under 26k GVW)\nTrucking experience, preferably with customer-service oriented delivery background\nExperience driving for a high-volume manufacturing environment\nExcellent organizational and time management skills\nStrong customer-service delivery background\nCounter-balance sit-down forklift experience\nADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS:\nValid California Class C license\nAbility to lift up to 50 lbs. unassisted\nLifting, standing, climbing, bending, grasping, sitting, pulling, pushing, stooping, stretching, and carrying are generally required to perform the functions of this position\nWillingness to work weekend shift hours (Monday-Friday 3pm-1:30am), overtime and weekends when needed to meet critical deadlines\nCOMPENSATION AND BENEFITS:\nPay Range:\nLevel 1: $22.00 - $24.50\nLevel 2: $24.50 - $27.00\nLevel 3: $26.00 - $32.50\nYour actual level and base salary will be determined on a case-by-case basis and may vary based on the following considerations: job-related knowledge and skills, education, and experience.\nBase salary is just one part of your total rewards package at SpaceX.
