Your efforts will ensure we can maximize the Onboarding Team's impact on new hires, helping them become great SpaceX employees quickly. We are looking for someone detail-oriented and outcome-focused. \nRESPONSIBILITIES:\nHelp manage and scale the company’s domestic onboarding program\nLead design, development, implementation, evaluation, and continuous improvement of orientation and onboarding programs with innovative strategies and tools\nPartner with stakeholders across the company to update all new hire information for current company practices and policies\nDevelop and act on a deep understanding of internal onboarding-related systems (Workday, Jira, Greenhouse, etc.)\nTrack metrics to evaluate the effectiveness of onboarding programs, then develop and execute recommendations for program improvements\nAssist in weekly orientation preparations\nProvide outstanding service to our customers by responding in a timely manner to their questions\nIdentify and implement positive employee experiences to help new SpaceX employees adapt to company and team cultures quickly\nPartner with HR leadership to create and implement impactful onboarding-related resources for hiring managers, company leadership, and other stakeholders in the onboarding process\nBASIC QUALIFICATIONS:\nBachelor's degree \n2+ years of professional experience in onboarding, learning and development, human resources, or program management\nPREFERRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:\nHigh level of organization and attention to detail\nPrior experience leading projects from inception to implementation\nStrong multi-tasking and time management skills\nAbility to learn quickly on the job\nHigh level of self-motivation, initiative, and sense of urgency to get things done\nExcellent written and verbal communication skills\nProactive problem solving skills\nResilience and flexibility; the ability to work in a dynamic organization with rapidly changing needs\nStrong skills in Microsoft PowerPoint, Word, Excel, and Outlook\nFamiliarity with SharePoint or other content management system\nFamiliarity with Greenhouse and Workday a plus\nExpertise in onboarding\nADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS:\nPosition requires ability to travel up to 50% of the time\nThis is not a remote position and will require relocation if not already local to the Bastrop, TX area\nMust be willing to work extended hours and/or weekends\nITAR REQUIREMENTS:\nTo conform to U.S. Government export regulations, applicant must be a (i) U.S. citizen or national, (ii) U.S. lawful, permanent resident (aka green card holder), (iii) Refugee under 8 U.S.C. § 1157, or (iv) Asylee under 8 U.S.C. § 1158, or be eligible to obtain the required authorizations from the U.S. Department of State.
