Production Coordinators work in support of all launch and production leadership staff to ensure the on-time delivery of components and assemblies.\nRESPONSIBILITIES:\nCreate inventory requests based on production work orders and replacement parts\nMaintain production schedules through the coordination of planning and shortage management in the production build\nEnsure parts are handled and protected properly and within SpaceX specifications\nInterface with engineers and technicians on the release of work orders for build\nReconcile work order bill of material quantities\nMaintain a high integrity in regard to company computer systems per procedures. Assist with resolution of incorrect system data, which is driving inappropriate demand, schedules, or could result in general failure\nVerify all material received for conformity with accompanying paperwork, checking for damage, correct part numbers, quantity and revisions prior to release of work orders to production\nWork with production customers for priority and schedule requirements\nAssist materials management leadership and project teams with action item updates as required\nCommunicate part status and estimated completion dates to leadership upon request\nAssist production teams in corrective actions\nSupport logistics process through innovative staging of workflow\nPerform de-kitting operations and own the return to stock process\nSupport productivity improvement\nBASIC QUALIFICATIONS:\nHigh school diploma or equivalency certificate\n1+ year(s) of supply chain, inventory or manufacturing experience\nPREFERRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:\nKnowledge of MRP/ERP systems (SAP, Oracle etc.)\nAssociates degree in a business or technology field\nExperience in aerospace, automotive, semiconductor or electronic manufacturing environment\nExperience operating forklifts\nAPICS certification\nADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS:\nAbility to pass Air Force background check for Cape Canaveral\nAbility to work the following shift: Monday - Friday 6:00am - 4:30pm \nValid driver’s license\nAbility to lift up to 50 lbs. unassisted\nAbility to work at elevated heights\nAbility to work in extreme outdoor environments - heat, cold, rain, etc.\nAbility to work in an environment requiring exposure to fumes, odors, and noise\nWillingness to operate machinery such as forklifts and loaders when needed\nAvailable for overtime and weekends as the schedule varies depending on site operational needs; flexibility required\nAble to and available for travel (up to 20% of time), including military and government installations\nCOMPENSATION AND BENEFITS:\nPay Range:\nLevel 1: $22.00 - $24.50\nLevel 2: $24.00 - $27.00\nLevel 3: $26.00 - $30.00\nYour actual level and base salary will be determined on a case-by-case basis and may vary based on the following considerations: job-related knowledge and skills, education, and experience.\nBase salary is just one part of your total rewards package at SpaceX.
