Today SpaceX is actively developing the technologies to make this possible, with the ultimate goal of enabling human life on Mars.\nRECRUITING COORDINATOR (STARBASE) - TEMPORARY\nAs a Recruiting Coordinator at SpaceX, your primary responsibility is to schedule all candidate phone and onsite interviews, as well as, make sure that candidates have a great experience and successful interview day. You will also provide support to your recruiting team, which may include but is not limited to, greeting and touring candidates, assisting with administrative tasks throughout the hiring process, and helping recruiters identify top talent by participating in recruiting events or sourcing.\nRESPONSIBILITIES:\nSchedule onsite interviews\nCoordinate candidate travel\nManage onsite interview logistics\nLearn about our business to the extent that it enables you to speak intelligently about our programs with candidates and client groups\nEnsure that all candidates have a positive experience while interviewing with SpaceX\nAssist the recruiting team with special projects as needed\nBASIC QUALIFICATIONS:\nBachelor’s degree\nPrevious experience in a professional setting within recruiting, human resources, marketing, sales, or technology\nPREFERRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:\nMinimum GPA of 3.0\n1+ years of experience as a recruiting coordinator\nExperience with Greenhouse or other applicant tracking system\nProficiency with MS Outlook and Microsoft Office tools\nBasic knowledge of personnel policy and procedure in accordance to federal and state laws regarding employment practices\nAbility to manage multiple on-going projects, be flexible to change, and adapt to shifting priorities\nTeam player with a high sense of urgency\nSelf-directed, detail-oriented problem solver with a strong passion to contribute to the team’s success\nAbility to handle confidential and sensitive information with tact, diplomacy, and discretion\nAbility to communicate effectively with all levels, including senior management, on one-to-one basis and in groups\nCapacity to learn and speak intelligently about our business and the space industry\nExcellent written and oral communication skills\nADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS:\nWilling to work overtime as needed\nThis role requires being onsite in Starbase, TX - remote work will not be considered\nITAR REQUIREMENTS:\nTo conform to U.S. Government export regulations, applicant must be a (i) U.S. citizen or national, (ii) U.S. lawful, permanent resident (aka green card holder), (iii) Refugee under 8 U.S.C. § 1157, or (iv) Asylee under 8 U.S.C. § 1158, or be eligible to obtain the required authorizations from the U.S. Department of State.
