Today SpaceX is actively developing the technologies to make this possible, with the ultimate goal of enabling human life on Mars.\nRECRUITING COORDINATOR - TEMPORARY POSITION\nAs a recruiting coordinator at SpaceX, your primary responsibility is to schedule all candidate onsite interviews, as well as making sure that candidates have a great experience and a successful interview day. You will also support your recruiting team, which may include but is not limited to greeting and touring candidates, and assisting with administrative tasks throughout the hiring process. Recruiting coordinators are integral members of the recruiting team as we bring top talent to SpaceX.\nRESPONSIBILITIES:\nSchedule onsite interviews\nCoordinate candidate travel\nHost candidates and manage day-of onsite interview logistics\nLearn about our business to the extent that you can speak intelligently about our programs with candidates and client groups\nEnsure that all candidates have a positive experience while interviewing with SpaceX\nAssist the talent operations team with special projects as needed\nPOSITION DETAILS:\nThis is a temporary position with SpaceX, for the length of time as stated, and is subject to change with minimal notice as business needs dictate.\nLENGTH OF POSITION: 6 months (permanent hire conversion based on performance and business need)\nLOCATION: Hawthorne, CA (requires being onsite - remote work not considered)\nSHIFT: standard business hours\nBASIC QUALIFICATIONS:\nBachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university\nPrevious experience in a professional setting within recruiting, human resources, marketing, sales, or technology\nPREFERRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:\nMinimum GPA of 3.0\n6+ months of professional experience in human resources, marketing, sales, or technology (internship experience is applicable)\nExperience as a recruiting coordinator\nExperience with Greenhouse or other applicant tracking system\nProficiency with MS Outlook and Microsoft Office tools\nBasic knowledge of personnel policy and procedure in accordance with federal and state laws regarding employment practices\nAbility to manage multiple ongoing projects, be flexible to change, and adapt to shifting priorities\nTeam player with a high sense of urgency\nSelf-directed, detail-oriented problem solver with a strong passion to contribute to the team’s success\nAbility to handle confidential and sensitive information with tact, diplomacy, and discretion\nAbility to communicate effectively with all levels, including senior management, on a 1:1 basis and in groups\nCapacity to learn and speak intelligently about our business and the space industry\nExcellent written and oral communication skills.\nADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS:\nWilling to work overtime as needed\nAbility to work 100% onsite in Hawthorne, CA - remote or hybrid work will not be considered\nCOMPENSATION AND BENEFITS:\nPay range: \nRecruiting Coordinator: $27.00/hour \nYour actual level and base salary will be determined on a case-by-case basis and may vary based on the following considerations: job-related knowledge and skills, education, and experience.\nBase salary is just one part of your total rewards package at SpaceX.
