SUPPLY CHAIN PLANNER (RAPTOR) \nThis is a high-profile, cross functional position that plays an integral role in enabling production flow and supporting launch manifest. Working in close coordination with engineering and manufacturing departments, supply chain planners execute effective, creative, and smart supply chain strategies to achieve production goals. Some of the functions a supply chain planner will be responsible for include material requirements planning, change management and forecast modeling. Supply Chain Planners will play a key role in enabling SpaceX to meet the ambitious growth targets and greatly contribute in making us a multi-planetary species. \nRESPONSIBILITIES: \nResponsible for managing and continuously improving both demand and supply plans associated with the Raptor program\nMaintain accuracy and audit bill of materials in MRP systems in preparation for production at rate \nAlign demand signals and allocations, maintaining product master data and developing expertise in in-house systems and reports \nCoordinate with engineering, production, and quality organizations to determine change cut in and reduce obsolescence of material \nMonitor spend to ensure adherence to project-specific budgets and forecasts \nAnalyze supply chain data and report out metrics \nAbility to develop and maintain strong relationships across disciplines and multiple levels of management \nGuide junior staff members in some aspects of their jobs and provides strategic support whenever needed \nBASIC QUALIFICATIONS: \nAdvanced degree; or bachelor’s degree and 2+ years of experience working in one or more of the following; or 6+ years of experience working in one or more of the following:Engineering\nPurchasing\nContract negotiation\nMaterial or production planning\nOperations or supply chain management\nMaterial cost control\nMaster production scheduling\n\nPREFERRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE: \nTechnical knowledge of Warpdrive \nAbility to influence \nProven track record of taking ownership and driving results \nExceptional analytical, problem solving, and organizational skills \nEffective written, verbal and presentation communication skills \nDetail-oriented, self-motivated and able to respond quickly to a fast-moving and ever-changing environment \nConducts all activities with the highest level of integrity \nADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS: \nMust be able to travel - up to 30% work week travel may be required, including international travel \nMust be able to work extended hours and/or weekends as needed to meet major milestones \nThis position is based in Hawthorne, CA and requires being onsite - remote work not considered \nCOMPENSATION AND BENEFITS:\nPay Range:\nLevel 2: $100,000.00 - $135,000.00\nYour actual level and base salary will be determined on a case-by-case basis and may vary based on the following considerations: job-related knowledge and skills, education, and experience.\nBase salary is just one part of your total rewards package at SpaceX.
