Today SpaceX is actively developing the technologies to make this possible, with the ultimate goal of enabling human life on Mars.\nSUPERVISOR, PORTER\nSupervisor, Porter is a personnel management role responsible for the processes of ordering, receiving product, equipment, event support, managing inventory, tracking spends, and ensuring product and supplies are readily available in the necessary areas for the food services department. This role is also responsible for the scheduling and payroll management, as well as assignment of responsibilities and overall staff supervision of the porter team. The Porter Supervisor supports the mission by coordinating the logistics of the perishable and non-perishable resources utilized by our Culinary and Food & Beverage team. They also that all food safety and quality assurance best practices are being followed. Additionally, they perform all of the heavy lifting for event setup, product, and equipment transport, to support with the necessary day to day operations.\nRESPONSIBILITIES:\nConduct on-hand inventories and place orders for all concept areas of Culinary food services\nReceive and inspect deliveries from vendors daily\nSet and enforce standards for ordering and receiving operations\nMaintain accurate inventory records for all departmental areas\nCreate awareness among kitchen teams regarding inaccuracies in product deliveries\nCollaborate with the culinary team to ensure optimal product and vendor selection\nMonitor and track departmental spending by vendor\nReconcile invoices and submit purchase orders for food and equipment vendors\nFulfill interdepartmental requests through the internal request system\nManage porters to provide site support, handle food deliveries, and maintain cleanliness of surrounding areas\nSupport events and operations by moving equipment, setting up, and resetting event spaces\nMove equipment to and from the warehouse to meet site needs\nMaintain cleanliness of operational areas and report maintenance issues for repair\nManage dishwashers to support kitchen operations and maintain cleanliness of the kitchen and surrounding areas\nManage staff scheduling, payroll, and attendance for the team\nConduct annual staff performance reviews and provide ongoing coaching and development\nEnsure all staff training and credentials remain up to date\nSupervise deliveries of water, ice, and backstock supplies across campus\nSupport internal delivery of supplies for daily operations and events\nMaintain a safe and clean work environment for the team\nMonitor equipment and asset management, including preventative maintenance\nSupport daily services and perform other tasks as directed by management\nBASIC QUALIFICATIONS:\nHigh school diploma or equivalency certificate\n2+ years of inventory experience\n2+ years of restaurant or retail food service experience\n1+ years of leadership experience\nPREFERRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:\nHave or be able to obtain TX food handler card\nHave or be able to obtain manager level food safety certification\nExperience in a corporate environment\nExperience working in large team settings\nCustomer service and or guest interaction experience\nExperience with Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook\nData entry experience\nExperience with inventory management software\nStrong writing and verbal communication skills\nDetail oriented and organized\nADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS:\nMust be willing to relocate to Starbase, TX and travel to remote Moon Corps sites on critical projects (up to 85% travel)\nAbility to provide 24/7 on-call support for emergencies and critical operations\nValid state issued driver's license\nITAR REQUIREMENTS:\nTo conform to U.S. Government export regulations, applicant must be a (i) U.S. citizen or national, (ii) U.S. lawful, permanent resident (aka green card holder), (iii) Refugee under 8 U.S.C. § 1157, or (iv) Asylee under 8 U.S.C. § 1158, or be eligible to obtain the required authorizations from the U.S. Department of State.
