Today SpaceX is actively developing the technologies to make this possible, with the ultimate goal of enabling human life on Mars.\nTALENT OPERATIONS SPECIALIST\nWe are seeking a Talent Operations Specialist who will own the end-to-end training, onboarding, and continuous enablement of our recruiting team. This role is critical to ensuring every recruiter is ramped quickly, operates consistently, and delivers an exceptional candidate and hiring manager experience.\nRESPONSIBILITIES:\nDrive strategic initiatives that increase recruiter effectiveness, optimize workflows, and scale best practices across the recruiting organization.\nDevelop and maintain recruiting knowledge hubs (e.g. Talenttools/, Hiring Manager recruiting guides, best practices, SOPs, compliance).\nRefine onboarding/training programs for recruiters, including first 30/60/90-day frameworks and shadowing experiences.\nPartner with Recruiting leaders to identify gaps in recruiter performance or process understanding.\nShadow recruiters and deliver feedback loops to improve performance and consistency.\nCreate frameworks to assess recruiter skill gaps and develop targeted improvement plans.\nPartner with recruiting leaders to define new recruiter ramp expectations and onboarding KPIs.\nShadow/observe high-performing recruiters and recruiting leaders to document effective sourcing strategies, candidate engagement techniques, and pipeline management habits. Use these observations to:\nBuild real-life case studies and success frameworks.\nIdentify repeatable tactics that can be scaled across the team.\nIntegrate insights into onboarding and continuous learning content.\nFacilitate live and async training sessions on tools, systems, and recruiting fundamentals.\nSupport change management for new tools or processes (Gem, Greenhouse updates, new scheduling systems).\nImprove new hiring manager onboarding knowledge of recruiting processes.\nDeliver internal comms around recruiting policies, process updates, or best practices.\nBASIC QUALIFICATIONS:\nBachelor’s degree and 6 months of recruiting experience; or 3+ years of recruiting experience in lieu of degree.\nPREFERRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:\nStrong familiarity with Greenhouse, LinkedIn Recruiter, and recruiting analytics.\nADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS:\nThis role requires 20% travel.\nWilling to work extended hours and weekends as needed.\nITAR REQUIREMENTS:\nTo conform to U.S. Government export regulations, applicant must be a (i) U.S. citizen or national, (ii) U.S. lawful, permanent resident (aka green card holder), (iii) Refugee under 8 U.S.C. § 1157, or (iv) Asylee under 8 U.S.C. § 1158, or be eligible to obtain the required authorizations from the U.S. Department of State.
