As an AWS Cloud Solution Architect at Span, you will be at the forefront of our clients' digital evolution. You will serve as the technical authority and strategic advisor for designing, deploying, and optimizing cloud-native and hybrid solutions on Amazon Web Services (AWS). You will work closely with global enterprise clients to understand their business goals, assess their current IT landscapes, and formulate robust cloud strategies. Whether you are spearheading a complex migration from on-premises to AWS for a manufacturing giant, or modernizing an existing cloud infrastructure for a leading bank, you will be the driving force behind scalable, secure, and cost-effective cloud architectures.\nWhat you'll do:\nLead architectural discussions and design sessions with enterprise clients to create innovative, highly available, and secure AWS cloud solutions.\nDevelop comprehensive cloud adoption, migration, and modernization strategies tailored to clients in diverse industries (banking, logistics, food & beverage, etc.).\nDesign and document technical architectures, topologies, and implementation roadmaps.\nCollaborate with engineering, security, and project management teams to ensure flawless execution of AWS deployments.\nProvide technical guidance and thought leadership on AWS best practices, Cloud Adoption Framework (CAF), and Well-Architected Framework principles.\nAct as a trusted technical advisor, translating complex technical concepts to both C-level executives and engineering teams.\nWhat we expect:\n5+ years of experience in Cloud infrastructure design and administration.\n3+ years of dedicated experience as a Cloud Architect, designing and implementing AWS solutions for enterprise-grade environments.\nProven track record of leading large-scale cloud migrations (re-host, re-platform, re-factor) for global customers.\nExperience working in consulting, client-facing, or professional services environments, handling enterprise clients.\nDeep understanding of core AWS services (Compute, Storage, Networking, Databases, Security, and Management tools).\nMastery of the AWS Well-Architected Framework and enterprise architecture patterns.\nProficiency in automating infrastructure using tools like Terraform or AWS CloudFormation.\nStrong grasp of AWS security concepts (IAM, KMS, WAF, Security Groups) and networking (VPC, Transit Gateway, Direct Connect).\nExperience with ECS, Kubernetes (EKS), and AWS serverless computing (Lambda) as well as Load Balancing solutions (ALB, NLB etc.)\nProficiency in English written and spoken \nExceptional communication and presentation skills, with the ability to articulate architectural decisions to both technical and non-technical stakeholders\nAWS Certified Solutions Architect - Professional certificate is highly preferred\nSkills that will bring you extra points:\nBasic to medium knowledge of Microsoft Azure and/or Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
