If you are passionate about customer service and ready to take on a key role in a forward-thinking company, we encourage you to apply.\nBenefits\nFuel and Store Discounts\n\nCompany pension scheme\n\nSupported further education and training.\n\nFlexible working hours\n\nAutonomy in the day to day running of the deli.\n\nPrincipal Duties\nTo work within the guidelines and parameters set by the Head of Fresh Food and the Area Fresh Food Advisors.\n\nResponsible for management of food court (including franchises within).\n\nManage the daily operations in the kitchen (All food preparation to include, breakfast, lunch, evening meals, chilled products and any other food related requirements)\n\nPrepare food to the high standards expected of our Corrib Deli’s.\n\nOperate the Deli department in line with company & government food safety & HACCP legislation.\n\nTo follow the company recipe manual & guidelines, ensuring the department meets projected sales and contribution targets.\n\nServe food ensuring the provision of excellent customer service throughout the department.\n\nEnsure all labour, stock control, ordering and margins are documented and communicated in accordance with Corrib Deli procedures.\n\nManage staff rotas, ensuring the Deli department has enough cover and is within budget constraints.\n\nConstant promotion of the Corrib Oil Customer Loyalty programme, ensuring offerings are well advertised, up to date.\n\nManage and develop staff to the high level expected of Corrib Deli employees, through continual training in accordance with policies, procedures and company best practice.\n\nAwareness of mental & physical health of staff, encourage & motivate your team and to deal with all staff related issues in a professional & courteous manner.\n\nAid and accompany Environmental Health Officers and other auditors during health inspections.\n\nWork in conjunction with the Store Manager to ensure the smooth running of the store as a whole\n\nKey Skills/Knowledge/Requirements\nCorrib Deli’s are a 7 day per week operation, so flexibility is required in this position.\n\nHighly organised with attention to detail, excellent communicator, committed to great customer service.\n\nTwo to three years management experience in a retail food environment would be an advantage.\n\nProfessional qualifications relevant to position would also be beneficial.\n\nGood Word and Excel knowledge & ability.","description_format":"text","description_chars":2997,"description_truncated":false,"requirements":{"experience_years_min":2,"management_years_min":null,"team_size_min":null,"manages_managers":false,"education":null,"security_clearance":false,"languages":[]},"benefits":["Flexible schedule"],"hiring_locations":[],"hiring_excludes":[],"relocation_offered":false,"industries":[],"lifecycle":[{"event":"open","at":"2026-09-12T01:12:30Z"}],"liveness":{"score":53,"band":"ok","label":"Likely open","p_open":1,"p_active":0.712,"p_room":0.75,"age_days":13,"expected_fill_days":18,"reasons":["conf:0","win:late","comp:junior"],"computed_at":"2026-09-23T05:45:00Z"},"pay":null,"html_url":"https://alion.io/job/spar-ireland-deli-manager-full-time-flexi-tralee-co-kerry","json_url":"https://alion.io/job/spar-ireland-deli-manager-full-time-flexi-tralee-co-kerry.json","meta":{"generated_at":"2026-09-23T21:54:16Z","cache_seconds":300,"methodology":"https://alion.io/methodology","terms":"https://alion.io/terms","contact":"https://alion.io/contact","api":"https://alion.io/developers"}}
