Our engineering team is small and senior, and everyone has real influence on what we build and how we build it.\nThis Role\nWe're looking for an engineer who lives and breathes the current wave of AI. Someone who's building with agents outside of work, has opinions about the latest model releases, and wants to apply that energy to production systems used by large enterprises.\nAs a Senior AI Engineer at Spara, you will:\nBuild and iterate on the AI systems that power our agents across chat, email, voice, meeting assistants, and lead enrichment. We ship new agent capabilities regularly, and the surface area is expanding fast.\n\nWork across multiple agentic systems, both customer-facing and internal. You won't be stuck on one thing.\n\nImprove retrieval, ranking, and response quality in a system that handles real customer conversations every day. The feedback loops are tight and the stakes are real.\n\nContribute to how we evaluate and measure quality across the platform. We care a lot about evals and are investing heavily here.\n\nShip to production multiple times a day using a modern stack: FastAPI/Python, React/TypeScript, Postgres + pgvector, multiple foundation models (OpenAI, Anthropic), Google Cloud, Docker, GitHub Actions.\n\nWhat We're Looking For\n4+ years of engineering experience with meaningful time spent working with LLMs and related technologies\n\nAt least one startup under your belt. You know what it's like to build fast with a small team and wear multiple hats.\n\nDeep familiarity with the agentic AI landscape.
