This role is focused on complex electrical infrastructure opportunities across industrial, commercial, institutional, municipal, manufacturing, data centre, energy, and BESS sectors. The successful candidate will support the development of competitive, well-structured estimates and proposals for large-scale construction projects that require strong technical understanding, commercial awareness, and cross-functional coordination. Working within the Major Projects team, you will be involved early in the project lifecycle, contributing to pre-construction strategy, bid development, execution planning, commercial review, and overall pursuit approach. This position offers strong exposure across the business and the opportunity to help influence how major projects are positioned before they move into execution.\nThis is an exciting opportunity for someone who wants to be part of a growing team focused on some of Spark Power's most strategic and high-impact pursuits. Here’s what we’re looking for:\nExperience in electrical estimating, project execution, project coordination, construction operations, project management, or a similar role related to major electrical construction projects\nExperience with industrial, commercial, institutional, municipal, manufacturing, data centre, energy, or BESS projects would be considered an asset\nStrong understanding of construction methods, project sequencing, and cost drivers for electrical work\nAbility to read and interpret drawings, specifications, contracts, and bid documents\nStrong attention to detail and the ability to build accurate, well-organized estimates under deadlines\nStrong analytical and mathematical skills\nStrong computer skills including Microsoft Office; experience with estimating software such as Accubid is an asset\nAbility to work effectively with cross-functional teams including operations, engineering, procurement, and commercial leadership\nStrong written and verbal communication skills\nField experience in electrical construction is considered a strong asset\nTrade certification, engineering technologist background, engineering background, or equivalent industry experience is considered an asset but not require\nWho is Spark Power?\nSpark Power is the leading independent provider of end-to-end electrical services and operations and maintenance services to the industrial, utility, and renewable asset markets in North America.
