Enterprise Applications provides oversight of the Spark Power’s software development and integration solutions. This team will work closely with other teams in both IT and the business to develop, promote and optimize the use of technologies within the Spark organization.\nReporting to the Manager, Enterprise Applications, you will focus on services and support that enable effective, reliable, and responsive development and implementation of business systems and platforms. The successful applicant will work closely with internal team members, third-party IT service and technology providers, relevant business committees to ensure applications meet and exceed business needs and expectations, resulting in benefits that maximize the performance and success of Spark. Here’s what we’re looking for:\nUniversity or post graduate level education in computer science, business or related field. \nExperience with Azure DevOps along with application development and application management methods and best-practices.\nExperience in implementing enterprise grade product / software spanning 6+ years.\nMinimum of 1 year of technical leadership\nExperience with management and oversight of third-party service providers in the completion of IT services and deliverables.\nProficiency in developing SQL queries, extracting data from databases, and understanding complex database schemas and database objects.\nIn-depth understanding of Web Services, Service Oriented Architectures and Object Oriented techniques.\nExperience in software development and support using languages C#, Angular, Python, and JavaScript\nAble to operate with a big picture mindset and adjust for technical granularities when required\nKnowledge and understanding of key technologies and application environments including: \nFinancial ERP and corporate reporting systems\nApplication integration, data management and translation/extract, end-user computing, and end-user collaboration platforms (e.g. CRM, Field Service Management)\nSuccessful delivery of projects using Application development and SDLC best-practices (e.g. Agile, Waterfall methodologies).\nExperience with software-as-a-service (SaaS) platforms.\nStrategic thinker with a stakeholder-centric focus with a demonstrated ability to identify, research and resolve complex technical problems.\nStrong desire to provide high-quality deliverables and to succeed by learning from colleagues and creating collaborative relationships at all levels.\nProficient in self-planning skills sufficient to schedule, organize and manage multiple activities of varying complexity according to established plans and adjusting work schedules according to changing priorities, and time constraints.\nExcellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills sufficient to effectively communicate information to stakeholders.\nAbility to multi-task and work in a deadline driven environment.\nWho is Spark Power?\nSpark Power is the leading independent provider of end-to-end electrical services and operations and maintenance services to the industrial, utility, and renewable asset markets in North America.
