With key targets of ensuring it is user-friendly, responsive, and capable of handling large volumes of transactions.\nIntegrate Payment and Inventory Systems: Work on integrating secure payment gateways and real-time inventory management systems to streamline the ordering process for customers.\nOptimise Performance: Continuously monitor and optimise the performance of the website and backend systems to ensure fast load times and a smooth user experience.\nCollaborate with Cross-Functional Teams: Work closely with the product, design, and marketing teams to implement new features and improve the overall customer journey.\nImplement Security Best Practices: Ensure the eCommerce platform is secure by implementing best practices for data protection, encryption, and regular security audits.\nMentor and Guide Junior Developers: Provide mentorship and guidance to junior developers, fostering a culture of learning and collaboration within the tech team.\nRequirements:\nA Bachelor's Degree: Computer Science/Software Engineering or equivalent industry experience.\n7+ years of Back-End Development Experience: Proven experience in JavaScript development, with a strong understanding of both front-end and back-end technologies.\nProficiency in Modern Web Technologies: Expertise in JavaScript, HTML5 CSS3 and frameworks like Svelte, React, Angular, or Vue.js for front-end development.
