From data ecosystems to digital products and AI acceleration, we turn complexity into clarity and ideas into impact.\nIf you’re driven to build what’s next, lead with empathy, and deliver excellence without ego, you’ll feel right at home at Sparq.\nC2C is not available\nMust be authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship\nA Day in the Life:\nDesign, develop, and automate performance testing solutions for multiple mobile applications, transitioning manual testing processes into unattended, cloud-based execution within UAT environments.\nBuild and maintain performance test scripts using tools such as k6, JMeter, Gatling, or Locust, ensuring reliable and repeatable load testing across applications.\nConfigure and execute automated performance tests using containers, CI/CD pipelines, and cloud infrastructure, preferably Google Cloud Platform (GCP).\nDevelop and implement ramped load, capacity, and spike testing scenarios to evaluate application performance under varying traffic conditions, including peak seasonal demand.\nEstablish weekly scheduled performance test runs, automated alerts, and threshold-based pass/fail criteria to support release readiness decisions.\nMonitor, analyze, and trend performance test results, leveraging reporting and observability tools such as Grafana or Datadog to identify bottlenecks, performance degradation, and capacity concerns.\nImplement and maintain token-based authentication within automated test harnesses, supporting secure execution across testing environments.\nExpand performance test coverage by developing new scenarios, including application capacity validation and peak-volume testing.\nCollaborate with engineering and client stakeholders to resolve environment dependencies, coordinate access requirements, and ensure performance testing readiness.\nCreate and maintain comprehensive technical documentation, test execution procedures, and operational runbooks to support knowledge transfer and ongoing ownership by client teams.\nWork within an accelerated delivery timeline, quickly assessing existing testing processes and implementing automation improvements to meet project milestones.\nWhat it takes:\nConsultative approach and problem solving skills to successfully align digital solutions with long-term business goals of the client\nHands-on experience using AI tools to enhance daily work, or a strong desire to do so, including a willingness to experiment, learn, and champion AI adoption within your role\nClaude Certified Developer or Architect highly preferred; possible opportunity to obtain as a Sparq colleague\nCommitment to understanding and exceeding client expectations\nAbility to perform project oversight and execution of deliverables\nFlexibility to adapt within a high-growth organization\nAbility to lead, mentor and motivate those around them\nHunger for continuous learning and professional development\nIntellectual curiosity to provide creative solutions\nFull understanding of the software development life cycle\nAbility to positively impact fellow colleagues through effective leadership, presentations, coaching, etc. \nDesire to work in a team environment\nGood interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills\nRegardless of your specific role, we seek individuals who are excited to explore, adopt, and evangelize AI tools and methodologies.
