Apply now!\nLocation:\n1102 Elida Ave - Delphos, Ohio 45833-1779Position Summary:\nProvides excellent customer service by utilizing a delivery vehicle to deliver pre-ordered items to residential and business customers. Receives in-store customer order and records specific delivery instructions. Provides added value by informing regular customers of new products and services and address customer questions and concerns. This position requires working weekends and holidays based on department staffing requirements.\nHere’s what you’ll do:\nDelivers pre-ordered items to residential and business customers\n\nLoads delivery vehicle with customer orders\n\nReceives and writes customer order with delivery instructions\n\nNavigates adverse terrain including multi-story buildings, private homes and other delivery sites while carrying product\n\nCollects customer payment and record all sales and delivery transactions\n\nEnsures customer signature on delivery receipts\n\nInforms customers of new products and services\n\nPicks up empty containers and rejected or returned merchandise\n\nMaintains clean delivery vehicle at all times\n\nFiles and resolves service complaints\n\nDemonstrates excellent customer service standards\n\nWorks toward continuous quality improvement\n\nUpholds company culture, customer service, and performance expectations\n\nUpholds, supports and promotes all company policies and procedures\n\nFollow all PPE and Safety Guidelines\n\nFollow all Food Safety and Cleaning Expectations\n\nFollow Guest Experience Guidelines\n\nMay be assigned tasks in other departments based on customer experience need\n\nAdditional responsibilities may be assigned as needed\n\nHere’s what you’ll need:\nHigh school graduate or equivalent (GED)\n\nMust possess a valid driver’s license\n\n6 months previous grocery or delivery experience preferred\n\nAbility to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos\n\nAbility to write simple correspondence\n\nAbility to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other Associates of the organization\n\nPhysical Requirements:\nThe physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an associate to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
