McKinley Ave - Mishawaka, Indiana 46545Bread Packaging Associate\nReports to: Night Supervisor and Central Bakery Manager\nBusiness Title: Bakery Production-Central Bakery\nJob Profile: Clerk 2, Production-Central Bakery\nPosition Summary:\nResponsible for slicing/packaging products to be passed along for delivery to the stores. Must be able to label and package product, check quality (appearance) of product. Distribution (pass-out) of product to the stores. Must be able to operate all machinery: Bread and bun slicers, bag clippers and label printers. Follow safe, sanitary food handling policy to prevent contamination and food borne illnesses.\nStarting Wage:\n$18.00\nStart Time: 6pm; Monday, Wednesday-Saturday (Sunday and Tuesday Off)\nSchedule may change based on production and holidays\nEducation:\nHigh School Diploma or equivalent (GED)\nExperience:\nNo experience required.\nResponsibilities:\nWorks under close supervision\nRepetitive work that is clearly defined, manual jobs\nImpacts own work\nQualifications:\nBasic math and reading skills, ability to follow directions and work in a fast-paced environment. Ability to stand for long periods of time. Ability to work with deadlines, since this is a production line it is easy to fall behind and hard to catch up. Flexible work schedule, weekends and holidays may be required.\nPhysical Requirements:\nMay be required to lift and/or move up to 30 pounds frequently, and up to 50 pounds occasionally. The associate is required to stand and walk for extended periods of time and may bend, stoop, twist and turn frequently. Requires constant bending, stretching, and good eye/hand coordination.\nOther Duties:\nClean work areas, wash equipment and take out trash. Varies according to production needs, occasionally may have to work in other production areas.\nEnvironmental Conditions:\nExposed to constant indoor temperatures of 75 degrees or higher.
