Apply now!\nLocation:\n8735 E 33rd Street - Indianapolis, Indiana 46226-6528PAY: $21/HR\nSCHEDULE: Five-day work week (Saturdays and one weekday off), 8-10 hour days\nMonday - Friday: 12:00 PM start time\nSunday: 11:00 AM start time\nPOSITION SUMMARY:\nThis role is responsible to complete orders by selecting products from the warehouse racks and to assemble, palletize and/or shrink wrap products/pallets for customer orders. An Order Selector may be required to use a variety of powered industrial equipment and may be required to work in dry or cooled product areas including refrigerated and freezer compartments.\nWHAT YOU'LL DO:\nLocate and lift cases, boxes, bags, and/or pallets of dry groceries, frozen foods, dairy products, produce, poultry, fish, beef, pork and related products in specific quantities for delivery to customers by using order sheets or an audio headset.\nOperate powered industrial equipment (e.g. single and double pallet jacks).\nMaintain a clean and safe work environment, including conducting inspections of powered industrial equipment using a safety checklist.\nReport damaged products, quality issues, and out-of-stock/low volume products.\nUtilize proper wrapping techniques to ensure safety of product to prevent damages.\nAdditional responsibilities may be assigned as needed.\nWHAT YOU'LL NEED:\nHigh school diploma or GED preferred.\nPrior order selecting experience preferred.\nPrior experience operating power industrial equipment preferred.\nMust perform assigned tasks accurately while meeting production standards in a fast-paced warehouse operation.\nAbility to safely operate warehouse equipment in accordance with Company safety policies and procedures.\nAbility to work in multi-temperature areas as assigned (e.g. freezer, coolers, dry conditions).\nMust be able to follow verbal and written instructions.\nPHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:\nThe physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an associate to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. While performing the duties of this position, employees are subject to a warehouse environment and may frequently be exposed to changes in temperature and humidity based on assignment. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate to high. Employees must be able to work weekends, holidays, days and night hours, and overtime as necessary and as assigned, and must be able to work in the condition specified for 8-10 hours shift as assigned.
