Michigan Ave. - Marshall, Michigan 49068Position Summary:\nThis role is responsibleto leadthe eCommerce process of receiving grocery orders from customers online, ensuring orders are picked, properly bagged and stored (refrigerator/freezer as needed), and in place for pick-up in a timely manner.\nHere’s what you’ll do:\nResponsible to lead the eCommerce process for receiving customer's online orders and picking or delegating picking of orders.\n\nReview customer comments/special instructions, as applicable, to ensure product selected matches customer's request; follow up on issues as necessary (i.e., product substitution, etc.).\n\nEnsure quality control and handle products carefully, specifically perishables and delicate items, during selection of items and packing of products to minimize damage and to ensure customer satisfaction\n\nScan order products, confirm order totals (check-out) for products priced by the pound (i.e., produce, deli, and meat/seafood) and substituted items.\n\nFollow proper procedures for storing orders at proper temperature (refrigerator/freezer as needed).\n\nReport customer issues, shorts, overages, damages to store management immediately.\n\nResearch and resolve customer complaints/problems in an appropriate and timely manner.\n\nProvide training, guidance and feedback to team to ensure standards, department procedures, and customer service expectations are being met.\n\nResponsible to provide focused and effective customer service.\n\nImplement the Company service program(s) and model high standards of service to achieve positive customer satisfaction.\n\nMaintain current knowledge of industry or local trends and best practices; make recommendations to improve current programs and processes.\n\nFollow all PPE and Safety Guidelines\n\nFollow all Food Safety and Cleaning Expectations\n\nFollow Guest Experience Guidelines\n\nMay be assigned tasks in other departments based on customer experience need\n\nAdditional responsibilities may be assigned as needed\n\nHere’s what you’ll need:\nHigh school diploma or GED (preferred)\n\nOne year of retail or related experience preferred.\n\nStrong written and verbal communication skills; ability to communicate clearly and professionally with customers.\n\nStrong organization and prioritization skills.\n\nAbility to make decisions and solve problems.\n\nGood leadership and training skills.\n\nAbility to develop knowledge of products and store layout for efficient picking procedures.\n\nProficient in MS office applications (i.e.Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.).\n\nAbility to work a flexible schedule based on the needs of the department.\n\nPhysical Requirements:\nThe physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an associate to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
