Apply now!\nLocation:\n6175 Technology Parkway - Midland, Georgia 31820Position Summary:\nThis role is responsible to unload products from trucks and breakdown pallets. Provides assistant to various warehouse position as requested to include sanitation, selection, inventory control, etc. May be responsible for fueling, washing and/or cleaning semi-trucks/trailers based on assigned distribution center.\nHere’s what you’ll do:\nUnload products from trucks; breakdown pallet and stack (lump) product on pallets and organize products to be placed into appropriate warehouse racks/pick slots.\n\nMove or otherwise handle cases, boxes, bags, and/or pallets of dry groceries, frozen foods, dairy products, produce, poultry, fish, beef, pork and/or tobacco products and related products as identified on order forms, in the quantities specified.\n\nAssist with sanitation duties to include cleaning the warehouse, emptying garbage, etc. as assigned.\n\nResponsible for fueling, washing and/or cleaning semi-trucks/trailers based on assigned distribution center.\n\nMay assist with checking product for damage, verifying accurate product and quantities received according to purchase order (PO) and pallet label.\n\nMay assist with completing selection orders; select products from the warehouse racks/pick slots, assemble, palletize and/or shrink wrap products/pallets for customer orders, and label cases/pallets with order labels in a timely, accurate and efficient manner.\n\nLift products weighing between 30-60 lbs. frequently and products weighing up to 75 lbs. occasionally, while ensuring and maintaining a safe work environment.\n\nMaintain a clean and safe work environment by properly disposing of pallet boards, wood chips, and other trash, etc. and ensuring any spills are cleaned up quickly and according to safety guidelines.\n\nMay operate power industrial equipment such as a long-tongued electric pallet jack, high-extender high-lift and other moving equipment (i.e., walkers).\n\nEnsure equipment is in good working order according to safety checklist as required.\n\nReport damaged product and quality issues and notify supervisor of out-of-stock or low volume product(s).\n\nParticipate in rotation of products, move products to dock areas and perform other duties as assigned.\n\nAdditional responsibilities may be assigned as needed.\n\nHere’s what you’ll need:\nHigh School Diploma (Preferred) or equivalent preferred.\n\nOne yearwarehouseexperience preferred.\n\nPrior experience operating power industrial equipment, such as an electric pallet jack, long-tongued electric pallet jack and high-extender high lift preferred.\n\nMust be able to perform the essential job functions with or withoutreasonableaccommodation in the conditions specified for 8 -10-hourshifts.\n\nMust be able to work weekends, holidays, day and evening hours, and overtime as assigned.\n\nMust understand and be able to communicate in English, including but not limited to, reading and interpreting order forms and selection labels.\n\nBasic reading, writing and arithmetic skills are required.\n\nMust be able to follow verbal (oral) and written instructions.\n\nAbility to work independently in a fast-paced warehouse operation.\n\nAble to safely operate warehouse equipment such as pallet jacks and other material handling/industrial equipment.\n\nMust follow safe working practices in accordance with Company safety policies and practices.\n\nAbility to work in multi-temperature areas as assigned (e.g.,freezer, coolers, dry conditions).\n\nMust report for work regularly and on time, as scheduled.\n\nMust be able to take direction from supervisor(s) and works well with others.\n\nMust work well under pressure, and is able to organize and prioritize work assignments, and meet established deadlines.\n\nMust perform assigned tasks accurately and completely.\n\nMust be flexible and able to handle changes in work requirements productively.\n\nPhysical Requirements:\nThe physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an associate to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. Employees must be able to work weekends, holidays, days and night hours, and overtime as necessary and as assigned, and must be able to work in the condition specified for 8-10 hours shift as assigned.
