Apply now!\nLocation:\n3960 44th Street SW - Grandville, Michigan 49418Position Summary:\nThis role is responsiblefor the maintenance of facilities for an assigned facility and/or company retail stores; follow defined procedures and processes relating to repairs and/or replacements of equipment and fixtures.\nHere’s what you’ll do:\nEnsure facilities/retail stores meet all safety and code requirements. \nRepair and/or replace equipment and fixtures as necessary (i.e., floors, ceiling, walls, doors, cabinets, light bulbs, etc.). \nAssist management with special projects as assigned (i.e., remodels, new store openings, etc.). \nMaintain well defined processes for repairs and replacement items. \nMaintain accurate and timely inventory of parts and equipment. \nMaintain a clean and safe work environment; ensure work is completed in a timely manner while keeping associates and customers in mind.\nAdditional responsibilities may be assigned as needed.\n\nHere’s what you’ll need:\nHigh School Graduate or Equivalent (GED)\n\nOne year experience with a combination of electrical, plumbing, carpentry, etc.\n\nExperience with food equipment strongly preferred.\n\nGood communication skills, written and verbal to communicate and/or document maintenance needs and status of projects.\n\nBasic math, writing and computer skills related to mechanic aptitude/maintenance.\n\nMust have maintenance experience to include carpentry and plumping skills and a basic understanding of environmental issues.\n\nPrior experience in retail maintenance a plus.\n\nMust be able to organize and prioritize workassignments andmeet established deadlines.\n\nMust perform assigned tasks accurately and completely.\n\nMust be flexible and able to handle changes in work requirements productively.\n\nPhysical Requirements:\nThe physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an associate to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.\nMust frequently sit, walk and stand, use hands to handle, grasp, and twist objects, tools, or controls, and use both feet for repetitive movements as in operating foot controls. Employees must be able to work weekends, holidays, days and night hours, and overtime as necessary and as assigned, and must be able to work in the condition specified for 8-10 hours shift as assigned.
