Apply now!\nLocation:\n537 76th St Sw - Byron Center, Michigan 49315Position Summary:\nThis role is responsible to install, troubleshoot, maintain, support and repair personal computer systems and related peripheral equipment for Company and Independent Retail locations. The related peripheral equipment may include wireless hand-held equipment, time clocks, EPS hardware, POS hardware, Microsoft O/S networks and servers, printers and modems.\nHere’s what you’ll do:\nResponsible to install, troubleshoot, maintain and repair personal computer systems and related peripheral equipment in support of the Company retail environment.\n\nThe related peripheral equipment may include wireless hand-held equipment, time clocks, EPS hardware, POS hardware, Microsoft O/S networks, servers, printers and modems.\n\nTroubleshoot, identify, analyze, resolve and/or escalate technical and customer problems for POS hardware, software, and telecommunication per established computer support guidelines.\n\nMaintain accurate documentation for inventories and customer records in accordance with established guidelines.\n\nProvide an optimal level of customer satisfaction by identifying technical environment issues and recommending solutions to mitigate problems.\n\nProvide technical support and training to end users to ensure optimal utilization of business system.\n\nMay provide training to other IT associates. Identify, analyze, and repair product issues; order and replace parts as needed.\n\nDetermine and recommend products or services to best fit the customer's needs.\n\nMake recommendations on system development, improvements, optimization or support efforts to minimize cost.\n\nAdditional responsibilities may be assigned as needed.\n\nHere’s what you’ll need:\nHigh School Diploma (Required) or equivalent combination of education and/or experience.\n\nTwo (2) years IT Support experience required; experience in Retail Technology preferred.\n\nGood written and verbal communication skills.\n\nGood organizational, planning and time management skills with outstanding trouble shooting andproblem-solvingskills.\n\nStrong customer service skills required.\n\nKnowledge of working in multi system, multi-vendor environment.\n\nFamiliar with IT concepts, practices, and procedures.\n\nStrong technical knowledge (Hardware and Software) ofmicroprocessor-based PC's, printers, POS terminal hardware and Local (LAN's) and Wide Area Networks (WAN's).\n\nFamiliar with NT 4.0, Windows 2000, Windows XP and Microsoft Office products.\n\nAbility to travel up to 25%.\n\nPhysical Requirements:\nThe physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an associate to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
