The ideal candidate will design and build scalable, secure server-side applications and services supporting Federal Government modernization programs. This role requires strong experience in backend programming, database design, and microservices architecture, along with the ability to develop reliable and high-performing systems.\nAs a valued member of the SFI team, you will play a critical role in delivering mission-critical capabilities and innovative technology solutions to our Federal Government customers.\nWork Environment: On-site\nKey Responsibilities:\nDesign and develop server-side application logic, APIs, and data services using languages such as Java, Python, or Node.js.\nBuild and maintain relational and NoSQL database schemas, queries, and stored procedures.\nImplement microservices and service-oriented architectures following enterprise design patterns.\nCollaborate with frontend developers, architects, and DevOps engineers to deliver end-to-end solutions.\nConduct unit testing, integration testing, and code reviews to ensure code quality and reliability.\nOptimize application performance through profiling, caching strategies, and query tuning.\nAdhere to secure coding practices and participate in security code reviews.\nOther duties as assigned.\nRequirements\nBachelor's in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.\n3 years of backend development.\nDemonstrated expertise in: Server-side programming, database design, API development, microservices, performance optimization.\nMust be a U.S. Citizen.\nMust possess an active Secret security clearance or be able to obtain one.\nDesired Skills:\nUnderstand PeopleSoft and related Oracle technology.\nAWS Certified Developer or equivalent cloud certification.\nExperience with containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes, Karfka).\nFamiliarity with CI/CD pipelines and DevSecOps practices.\nExperience developing backend services for DoD or federal agency programs.\nAdditional Information:\nClearance: Must be a U.S. Citizen with an active Secret security clearance or the ability to obtain one.\n Work Environment: On-site as required by the contract.\nThis is a full-time, W2 position.\nNo agencies, third parties, or Corp-to-Corp submissions.\nSpatial Front Inc. is an Equal Opportunity Employer -
