The ideal candidate will be a hands-on and highly technical BI Team Lead to lead a team of business intelligence analysts and developers in delivering data-driven insights and reporting solutions for Federal Government customers. The candidate will combine technical BI expertise with strong leadership and stakeholder management skills.\nWork Location: On-site/Hyrid, Arlington, VA\nKey Responsibilities:\nLead and manage a team of BI analysts and developers, providing technical direction, mentorship, and performance oversight.\nProvide direct technical support and hands-on BI reporting\nDefine and execute the BI strategy, roadmap, and standards for the program.\nOversee the design, development, and maintenance of BI dashboards, reports, and data models.\nCollaborate with stakeholders to gather and prioritize BI requirements aligned with mission objectives.\nEnsure data quality, consistency, and governance across all BI deliverables.\nCreate dashboards and track metrics based on the requirements and user feedback\nEnable better BI reporting by leveraging AI, improving data quality and doing better data mapping\nWork on executing various ETL processes and perform data preparation\nPresent BI findings, insights, and recommendations to senior government stakeholders.\nOther duties as assigned.\nRequirements\nBachelor's in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field.\n7 years of business intelligence, 3 years of team leadership.\nExperience with ETL tools such as AB Initio\nExperience with Dashboard and Data Visualization tools - preferred Microsoft tools such as Power BI, Project Visio, etc.\nExperience with reporting tools- preferred Oracle tools such as OBIA/OAP, OAS, and OBIEE.\nExperience with relational databases - preferred is Oracle RDMS 19c\nDemonstrated expertise in: BI leadership, data strategy, team management, stakeholder communication, and technical oversight.\nMust be a U.S. Citizen.\nMust possess an active Secret security clearance\nDesired Skills:\nMicrosoft Certified: Power BI Data Analyst Associate or equivalent BI certification.\nExperience with Kibana is a plus\nExperience with Kafka is a plus\nExperience with GoAnywhere and Oracle Data Guard is a plus\nExperience leading BI teams supporting DoD or federal agency programs.\nFamiliarity with data warehousing concepts and ETL pipeline design.\nExperience with Tableau, MicroStrategy, or similar enterprise BI platforms.\nAdditional Information:\nClearance: Must be a U.S. Citizen with an active Secret security clearance.\n Work Environment: On-site/Hybrid as required by the contract.\nThis is a full-time, W2 position.\nNo agencies, third parties, or Corp-to-Corp submissions.\nSpatial Front Inc. is an Equal Opportunity Employer -
