The ideal candidate will lead and support cybersecurity activities for the enterprise infrastructure that supports PeopleSoft HCM in a secure, on-premises federal environment. This role focuses on infrastructure cybersecurity operations, including vulnerability scanning, security monitoring, hardening, access control, audit support, incident response, and continuous remediation across Oracle-based, Solaris/UNIX, middleware, database, and data integration platforms.\nThe ideal candidate combines hands-on infrastructure security expertise with strong knowledge of secured networks, scripting, automation, and operational sustainment.\nWork Location: Hybrid, On-site, Arlington, VA\nKey Responsibilities:\nAdminister, monitor, and strengthen the security posture of infrastructure supporting PeopleSoft HCM and related systems in a secure, on-premises environment. \nPerform vulnerability scanning, compliance checks, log reviews, and security monitoring across servers, databases, middleware, interfaces, and supporting tools. \nImplement and sustain security controls for Oracle-based, Solaris/UNIX, and enterprise platforms in alignment with federal and DoD security requirements. \nDevelop and maintain scripts, automation tools, runbooks, and SOPs to improve security operations, monitoring, reporting, and remediation efficiency. \nInvestigate alerts, indicators of compromise, suspicious activity, and configuration drift; coordinate containment, remediation, and documentation. \nSupport identity and access management (IAM), privileged account controls, audit readiness, evidence collection, and compliance efforts. \nCollaborate with infrastructure, database, middleware, and application teams to implement system hardening, patching, secure configurations, and vulnerability remediation. \nSupport continuous monitoring, POA&M activities, contingency planning, incident response, and sustainment in highly secure environments.\nRequirements\nBachelor’s degree in Cybersecurity, Information Systems, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent relevant experience). \n3+ years of cybersecurity, information assurance, or infrastructure security experience. \nExperience supporting PeopleSoft HCM or similar ERP environments preferred. \nHands-on experience securing and supporting on-premises Oracle and Solaris/UNIX environments, including vulnerability scanning, monitoring, hardening, patching, and operational support. \nExperience with vulnerability management, log analysis, security monitoring tools, scripting, and automation. \nFamiliarity with middleware, ETL/data integration, identity management, or database security is a plus. \nMust be a U.S. Citizen with an active Secret security clearance or the ability to obtain one. \nExperience working in secured federal or DoD environments preferred.\nDesired Skills:\nFamiliarity with DISA STIGs, vulnerability remediation processes, security scanning tools, and continuous monitoring practices. \nExperience supporting DoD or federal programs requiring audit support, incident response, secure network operations, and compliance with cybersecurity frameworks. \nKnowledge of runbooks, SOPs, change management, access control, backup and recovery considerations, incident management, and problem management. \nAbility to collaborate across infrastructure, database, middleware, application, security, and operations teams to mitigate risks and strengthen system resilience.\nAdditional Information:\nClearance: Must be a U.S. Citizen with an active Secret security clearance or the ability to obtain one.\nWork Environment: On-site/Hybrid as required by the contract and program.\nBenefits: For more information, visit: http://www.spatialfront.com/pages/career.html\nThis is a full-time, W2 position.\nNo agencies, third parties, or Corp-to-Corp submissions.\nSpatial Front Inc. is an Equal Opportunity Employer -
