The RTE serves as the leader and chief facilitator for the Enabling Rail Agile Release Train (ART), helping teams plan, coordinate, and deliver shared services and technical enablers that support mission execution across the broader Solution Train. Unlike a business-feature ART, Enabling Rail provides the cross-cutting capabilities that allow other ARTs to deliver at scale, including environment management, DevSecOps pipeline support, release coordination, production readiness, application security, integration and testing support, business intelligence enablement, and change/training/deployment support.\nThis role is responsible for facilitating ART events, managing ART, improving flow, managing cross-team dependencies and risks, driving transparency through metrics, and aligning delivery across multiple teams and stakeholders. The RTE will work closely with Product Management, System Architects, Scrum Masters, team leads, Government stakeholders, and partner ARTs to ensure the Enabling Rail supports secure, reliable, compliant, and predictable delivery across a complex government environment that spans NIPRNET and SIPRNET, multiple vendors, and multiple technical platforms.\nAs a valued member of the SFI team, you will play a critical role in delivering mission-critical capabilities to our Federal Government customers.\nWork Location: On-site, Arlington, VA\nKey Responsibilities:\nFacilitate ART-level events and ceremonies, including PI Planning, ART Syncs, Scrum of Scrums, System Demos, Inspect & Adapt workshops, and release readiness coordination.\nServe as the primary ART-level facilitator and manager for the Enabling Rail, helping teams stay aligned on priorities, dependencies, milestones, risks, and outcomes.\nCoach and guide ART teams SAFe 6.0 principles, Lean-Agile practices, flow-based delivery, and continuous improvement.\nManage and optimize the ART's flow of work, identifying and removing impediments.\nCoordinate closely with Product Management, Business Owners, System Architects, Release Management, DevOps, Cybersecurity, Test, BI, and Change Management leads to align delivery objectives and execution plans.\nPromote transparency into ART execution using approved tooling and dashboards, including alignment of work items, milestones, dependencies, and outcomes.\nSupport preparation, refinement, and alignment of PI Objectives, features, enablers, milestones, and ART commitments.\nTrack and report on ART-level metrics including program predictability, velocity, and quality.\nSupport the development and maintenance of the program backlog and PI objectives.\nFacilitate cross-team dependency management and risk identification.\nOther duties as assigned.\nRequirements\nBachelor's in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.\n7 years of experience supporting software delivery, systems implementation, Agile program delivery, technical project/program management, or related enterprise IT work.\n3 years of experience in SAFe, Agile Release Train leadership, large-scale Agile delivery, or equivalent enterprise Agile transformation/execution roles.\nDemonstrated experience facilitating PI Planning and other ART-level events for large, cross-functional, and distributed teams.\nStrong understanding of SAFe 6.0, Agile/Kanban delivery, dependency management, risk management, metrics, and continuous improvement.\nTeam management experience\nExperience coordinating work across multiple teams with shared services, technical dependencies, and release synchronization requirements.\nStrong facilitation, communication, stakeholder management, and conflict-resolution skills.\nExperience with Agile lifecycle and work management tools such as Azure DevOps (ADO) - highly preferred, Jira, Rally, or similar platforms.\nMust be a U.S. Citizen.\nMust possess an active Secret security clearance or be able to obtain one.\nDesired Skills:\nSAFe Release Train Engineer (RTE) or SAFe Program Consultant (SPC) certification.\nExperience serving as an RTE, Senior Scrum Master, Agile Program Manager, or Delivery Lead on a DoD, Army, or federal civilian program.\nExperience supporting large enterprise platforms, including ERP/HCM/payroll or similarly complex multi-team environments.\nFamiliarity with PeopleSoft, Oracle-based enterprise systems, Azure DevOps (ADO), and enterprise release/dependency tracking practices.\nExperience leading PI Planning events for large, distributed agile teams.\nExperience working in environments with DevSecOps, RMF, STIG, ATO, audit, release governance, and compliance constraints.\nFamiliarity with operations across NIPRNET/SIPRNET or other segregated environments.\nExperience coordinating across multi-vendor delivery teams, shared services groups, and Solution Train structures.\nExperience supporting ARTs that include DevOps, SRE, Release Management, AppSec, BI, testing, and change management capabilities.\nExperience using metrics such as ART Predictability, Business Value achievement, defect trends, dependency aging, and flow metrics to improve delivery outcomes.\nAdditional Information:\nClearance: Must be a U.S. Citizen with an active Secret security clearance or the ability to obtain one.\n Work Environment: On-site as required by the contract.\nThis is a full-time, W2 position.\nNo agencies, third parties, or Corp-to-Corp submissions.\nSpatial Front Inc. is an Equal Opportunity Employer -
