As a UI/UX-focused Senior Software Engineer, you will play a critical role in designing and developing dynamic, responsive, and scalable web applications using modern web technologies such as HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript (ES6+), and frameworks like React, Angular, or Vue.js. . You’ll collaborate closely with UI/UX designers, back-end engineers, and data professionals to deliver engaging, intuitive, and high-performance user experiences across complex datasets and analytics tools.\nKey Responsibilities:\nDesign and develop responsive, scalable, and high-performance web applications using Angular (v8+) or React.\nTranslate UI/UX wireframes and mockups into high-quality front-end code. \nDesign, develop, and maintain scalable, secure web applications, integrating cloud infrastructure via AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud, and implementing CI/CD pipelines (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI, GitHub Actions).\nCollaborate closely with UI/UX designers, conducting code reviews, mentoring junior developers, and optimizing existing applications for performance and security.\nIntegrate and consume RESTful APIs and external data sources.\nOptimize application performance to ensure fast load times and seamless user experiences.\nWrite clean, maintainable, and testable code using TypeScript, HTML5, and CSS3.\nConduct unit and end-to-end testing with tools such as Jasmine, Karma, and Protractor.\nCollaborate with cross-functional teams in an Agile/Scrum environment.\nEnsure 508 accessibility compliance and cross-browser compatibility.\nParticipate in code reviews, maintain CI/CD pipelines (e.g., Jenkins, GitHub Actions), and support ongoing application improvements.\nRequirements\nBachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field. May substitute six (6) years of equivalent professional experience in lieu of a degree.\n8+ years of experience as a Software Engineer with a focus on front-end development.\nProven expertise with Angular, React, TypeScript, HTML5, CSS3, and RESTful APIs.\nExperience with GitHub, Jenkins, PostgreSQL, Java, and Node.js.\nStrong understanding of modular code, routing, lazy loading, and performance tuning.\nExperience working in Agile/Scrum and DevSecOps environments using Jira and Confluence.\nFamiliarity with AWS cloud services and serverless computing (e.g., S3, Lambda, API Gateway, DynamoDB).\nStrong analytical and problem-solving skills with high attention to detail.\nExcellent written and verbal communication skills.\nMust be able to pass a U.S. Public Trust background investigation (fingerprinting required).\nDesired Skills:\nExperience with both Angular and React or hybrid front-end frameworks.\nBackground in developing UI for customer-facing applications.\nFamiliarity with Docker, Kubernetes, and CI/CD pipelines.\nKnowledge of security best practices (OAuth, JWT).\nExperience with Progressive Web Apps (PWAs) or server-side rendering (Angular Universal).\nFederal project experience and understanding of FISMA, FedRAMP, and Section 508 standards.\nAdditional Information:\nClearance: Must be authorized a US citizen or green card holder and able to obtain a Public Trust clearance.Background checks may include Criminal History, Education Verification, Employment Verification, Professional Certifications, and Credit History.
