SFI was recently awarded the 2025 USA Today National Top Places to Work award and the 2025 Washington Post Top Workplaces.\nWork Location - Remote with availability for meetings on customer site\nProject Overview:\nDevelopment of new features and defect fixes for existing application in preparation for the next Economic Census.\nSummary of Major Job Functions:\nFix defects found in the D-IPSE Web application. \nUpgrade libraries used by the application. \nAdd functionality to satisfy change requests.\nPrimary Responsibilities:\nMaintain and enhance existing UI and UX across web application.\nTranslate concepts into wireframes and mockups that lead to intuitive user experiences.\nParticipate in project/sprint planning, peer reviews, JAD sessions and evaluate project activities for compliance with design/development guidelines and standards.\nTranslate requirements in the form of flowcharts, user stories, UML, user stories, and interviews into efficient designs for UI and the services they consume.\nUse storyboarding, user scenario and use cases to capture and develop user requirements, UI Templates and integrate elements into user interaction designs\nParticipate in project/sprint planning, peer reviews and evaluate project activities for compliance with design/development guidelines and standards.\nDevelop cross-browser compatible responsive front-end interfaces using Angular, Typescript, JavaScript, HTML5, CSS3, and Bootstrap\nDevelop Restful services using Java, Spring Boot, Spring Data JPA, and Oracle PL/SQL\nRequirements\n US Citizenship with an ability to obtain a Public Trust clearance is required.\nA bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience is required \nAWS Cloud Practitioner Certification or above is desired \nAngular (4+yrs)\nJava (5+ yrs)\nSpring Boot (4+yrs)\nSpring Data JPA (3+yrs)\nOracle (4+yrs)\nPL/SQL (4+yrs)\nDesired Skills & Qualifications:\nGood communication skills\nAbility to mentor junior developers, if needed\nAdditional Information:\nIn order to meet the clearance requirements for this opportunity, candidates must be US Citizen.\nAll candidates will be subject to a complete background check to include, but not limited to Criminal History, Education Verification, Professional Certification Verification, Verification of Previous Employment and Credit History.\nPublic Trust background investigations can take approximately four to eight weeks and requires fingerprinting.\nOther Information:\nThe salary for this position is $140,000 -
