You’ll work on projects from initial sketch through to high-resolution, production-ready delivery. This is a hands-on role working alongside our writers, producers, and creative team, to build worlds that families love.\nWhat You'll Do\nProduce concept art, illustrations, and digital designs from a creative brief\n\nSketch characters, environments, icons, infographics, and other visual elements that support storytelling.\n\nWork in distinctive styles across a variety of mediums, producing both quick \"rough\" drawings and highly detailed \"clean\" final digital deliverables.\n\nDeliver assets for a wide range of needs, from corporate partnerships to comics.\n\nUse colour palettes, textures, and linework to evoke specific moods.\n\nCheck artwork for print accuracy, colour requirements, panel alignment, and quality.\n\nMeet existing art standards and style guidelines, ensuring consistency and continuity.\n\nAdapt and polish artwork based on creative feedback to hit tight production deadlines\n\nContribute to the ongoing development of multiple family-friendly brands.\n\nManage your assigned tasks and timelines using agreed workflows, keeping accurate job notes and status updates in our project management system.\n\nWhat We're Looking For\nRequired\nMust show a portfolio of work that demonstrates the above for consideration.\n\nBased in Melbourne and able to work from our Collingwood HQ studios\n\nA creative mind, excellent drawing skills, and the ability to interpret and deliver to a brief.\n\nAbility to understand a brand and adapt your style to suit it.\n\nStrong artistic fundamentals: composition, colour theory, perspective, typography, layout, and visual hierarchy.\n\nProficiency in Adobe Creative Suite.\n\nExperience working on MacBooks with drawing tablets.\n\nThe ability to draw and work quickly, take direction, and navigate constructive criticism.\n\nNice to Have\nAn interest in using emerging tech to speed up monotonous tasks like briefing, mockups, and repetitive adjustments.\n\nFamiliarity with product design pipelines, animation,cartooning, sketching, or comic-style projects.\n\nOur Offer\nIf you're excited to work within the creator economy, that publishes some of the most loved content on the internet bringing smiles to millions of families across the globe; whilst working alongside a highly skilled and fun-loving team - then what are you waiting for?
