You will be responsible for maintaining the flow of \nwellness/surgery patients through the clinic, assisting them through the clinic process, make recommendations \nfor services and products to clients based on their pet's lifestyle, and maintaining good communication with the \nveterinary medical team. \nSkills/Experience:\nBilingual in English and Spanish is strongly preferred. \nExcellent verbal and written communications skills required. \nProficiency with data entry on a PC platform including Microsoft Office programs. \nMust be confident around pets (i.e., dogs, cats), be able to handle them safely with patience and \ngentleness, and use appropriate safety equipment. The use of proper safety equipment is mandatory. \nMedical background (veterinary technician, human healthcare, pharmaceutical, etc.) with medical \nterminology training is preferred. \nMust be able to greet customers and obtain and accurately record patient case histories. \nMust be able to communicate basic veterinary concepts to clients and be able to accurately relay \ninformation provided by a veterinarian. \nMust be able to counsel clients on post-operative care and the proper use and administration of \nmedications. \nShould be able to identify own limitations and be willing to ask for help. \nThe individual performing this job may be required to work more than eight hours in a day or 40 hours \nin a week. \nEssential Functions/Responsibilities: \nRepresent Spay Neuter Network by providing exceptional customer service at all times and maintaining \npositive relationships with every client volunteer and staff person.
