Implements and trains project work crews and management teams regarding potential environmental issues and procedures\nCompile monthly environmental and sustainability reports.\nLead environmental and sustainability meetings with clients and subcontractors.\nApply knowledge of asbestos and lead surveys and abatement methods.\nManage environmental subcontractors and oversee soil and rock sampling, drilling, and reporting.\nOversee SWPPP field inspections and compile weekly reports.\nPerform air-monitoring calculations for shafts and tunnels.\nPrepare and download daily perimeter air-monitoring reports and recommend corrective actions for recorded exceedances.\nSchedule daily trucking and secure disposal permits through environmental review and approve invoices.\nApply the Envision Sustainable Infrastructure Framework to support achievement of a Platinum rating.\nAdminister the NJDEP Palisades Tunnel website and submit monthly and quarterly groundwater discharge reports in accordance with the NJDEP discharge permit.\nAdvise the Safety Department on silica and naturally occurring asbestos testing in tunnels to support OSHA and waste-disposal compliance.\nWho You Are\nBachelor's Degree in Environmental Engineering or a related field required. \n5+ years environmental regulatory and compliance experience in the construction industry required. \nConstruction industry experience required;
