AssemblyJOB SUMMARY\nThe Sourcing Manager is responsible for supporting and executing strategic sourcing initiatives to drive cost efficiency, strengthen supplier partnerships, and ensure the reliable and timely supply of goods and services.\nThe Sourcing Manager will collaborate closely with internal cross-functional teams and external suppliers to align sourcing strategies with business objectives while ensuring procurement is both cost-effective and timely.\nFocus Category: Bike, Frameset, Wheel Assembly\nHOW YOU WILL MAKE A DIFFERENCE\nCategory Management & Strategic Support\nSupport sourcing strategies for the assigned category in alignment with company goals, cost targets, product development timelines, and manufacturing plans.\nConduct regular category reviews to assess supplier competitiveness, market trends, risk exposure, and innovation opportunities.\nEnsure category strategy supports both short-term execution and long-term business growth.\nMaintain an up-to-date understanding of category cost drivers, supply market dynamics, and technology trends.\nSupplier Selection & Development\nBuild and maintain strong supplier relationships, including regular business reviews, supplier development plans.\nLead supplier selection processes by defining sourcing criteria, issuing RFPs, coordinating cross-functional evaluations, and making recommendations based on cost, quality, delivery, innovation, and risk factors.\nIdentify, evaluate, and onboard new suppliers to ensure supply base competitiveness, innovation, and capacity resilience.\nPartner closely with Product Managers, Engineering, Quality, and Supply Chain to ensure supplier capabilities align with technical and commercial requirements.\nJointly define capability and performance gaps and collaborate and collaborate with cross-functional teams to establish structured improvement plans with key suppliers.\nCost Management & Commercial Negotiation\nLead negotiation of pricing, tooling investments, capacity commitments, and commercial terms.\nSupport cost analysis, benchmarking, and value engineering initiatives to meet savings targets while ensuring product and quality integrity.\nLead contract management activities, including negotiation, execution, and ongoing compliance with commercial and legal terms.\nMaintain accurate supplier data and cost information within PLM, Oracle, and sourcing systems.\nWHAT YOU NEED TO WIN\nProfessional Experience\n7+ years of experience in sourcing and procurement within the bicycle industry or a related manufacturing field.\nProven experience in supplier negotiations, cost analysis, and contract management.\nFamiliarity with global sourcing, supplier dynamics in Asia, and international trade practices\nSolid knowledge of manufacturing cost drivers, product cost breakdowns, and VA/VE (value analysis/value engineering) practices.\nStrong understanding of the bicycle industry supply chain, including vendor dynamics, manufacturing processes, and cost structures is a plus\nSkills and Competencies\nStrategic sourcing knowledge (e.g., category management, supplier segmentation)\nNegotiation and contract management\nSupplier relationship management (SRM)\nData analysis skills (Excel, Power BI, or other analytics tools)\nERP systems experience (e.g., SAP, Oracle, or Coupa)\nCertifications (Optional but Valuable)\nCPSM -
