Our Operations Analysis Engineer I/II will be based in our Peabody office. Funded by a mix of government R&D organizations and private funding, Specter is expanding its team in preparation for flight testing and full-scale production.\nRole & Responsibilities\nConduct survivability assessments of novel, high-speed weapon systemsto support on-going programs\nCreate and validate vehicle performance models in AFSIM\nDevelop and debug threat IADS simulations in AFSIM\nConduct engagement simulations using TMAP and ESAMS\nDevelop tools in Python and MATLAB to support the performance analysis of weapon systems\nSupport trajectory optimization efforts (3DOF/6DOF)\nOther duties as assigned by the company\nRequired Qualifications\nBachelor’s degree in Engineering, Math, Computer Science, Physics, or other related discipline\n0-3years of relevant full-time experience\nInterest in/Experience conducting engagement-level analysis of high-speed weapon systems using ESAMS or TMAP\nInterest in/Experience conducting mission-level simulations in support of weapon system development using AFSIM\nInterest in/Experience utilizing Linux computers for simulationsand experience with HPC interfaces\nProficiency in MATLAB and Python to support tool development\nAbility to obtain a DoD security clearance (U.S. Citizenship required)\nPreferred Qualifications\nMaster’s Degree in Engineering, Math, Computer Science, Physics, or other related discipline\n2+ years of relevant full-time experience\nExperience performingsurvivability studies for weapon system development programs\nExperience working across classification levels to efficiently
