In this role, you'll contribute to the design, analysis, testing, and manufacturing of mechanical systems, with a strong focus on airflow, thermal performance, reliability, and manufacturability.\nYou'll work closely with cross-functional teams while taking increasing ownership of component design, problem-solving, and continuous improvement initiatives. This is an excellent opportunity for an engineer who enjoys hands-on development, data-driven decision-making, and seeing products move successfully from concept to production.\nWhat You'll Do\nAnalyze and improve airflow and thermal performance in new and existing products.\nPerform CFD simulations and thermal analysis using tools such as SOLIDWORKS Flow.\nDesign test fixtures, tools, and validation methods to verify mechanical performance.\nDevelop and refine test procedures that support both product validation and manufacturing.\nSupport the transition of designs into manufacturing and help ensure production readiness.\nAnalyze build, test, and field performance data to identify trends and recommend improvements.\nTroubleshoot mechanical and manufacturing issues and implement effective corrective actions.\nLead or support root-cause investigations and failure analyses.\nCreate and maintain BOMs, CAD models, drawings, and engineering specifications.\nRelease and manage mechanical components for sustaining engineering activities.\nSupport end-of-life component replacement efforts and qualification of alternative parts.\nPartner with systems, electrical, firmware, and manufacturing teams to improve product integration, quality, and manufacturability.\nWhat We're Looking For\nBachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.\n2-5 years of mechanical engineering or product development experience.\nExperience with 3D CAD modeling, preferably SolidWorks.\nMUST HAVE Experience with CFD and thermal analysis tools such as SOLIDWORKS Flow or ANSYS.\nAbility to interpret engineering drawings and technical documentation.\nStrong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to use data to drive decisions.\nFamiliarity with scripting, automation, or engineering analysis tools is a plus.\nSelf-starter who enjoys learning new technologies and improving processes.\nStrong communication and collaboration skills.\nLocation\nThis position is based in Boulder, Colorado. Candidates must live within commuting distance of our office.
