Our Logistics Managers will conduct analyses on past, current and future performance and spend data to select the best overall strategy for the portfolio.\nKey Responsibilities\n Perform all facets of LMS (series 0346) principles, procedures, techniques, and practices associated with LMS Workload regarding Air Force Supply Chain Management.\nProvide experience and insight in working with Government systems and processes.\nWork with IPTs on specific weapons systems, subsystems, or programs to analyze installation and Major Command planning and programming documents to determine the nature and scope of acquisition and sustainment efforts.\nProvide assistance and guidance on logistics systems and processes related to their series to other personnel in their assigned area.\nPerform activities involving supply chain management systems and processes including developing tactical and strategic acquisition strategies.\nSupport the development of Requirements Approval Documents (RAD).\nMake use of/provide assistance and guidance in the use of the Purchase Request Process System (PRPS), Wide Area Work Flow (WAWF), the Logistics Installations and Mission Support Enterprise View (LIMS-EV) system, the Defense Logistics Agency (DLA) Asset Visibility system, the Commercial Asset Visibility Air Force (CAV-AF) system, and the Planning for DLA Managed Consumables (PDMC)/ Demand Data Exchange (DDE) system.\nDevelop/assist with how to build a program continuity book, lead an IPT, perform the 8-Step Problem Solving process, and develop bullet background papers, retention letters, packages, and Market Research reports.\nPrevious Logistics Management Specialist experience (either contractor or government).\nExperience with and knowledge of DoD 4140.1-R, AFMCI 23-101, AFMAN 23-110, AFMCM 65-33, D220 User Guide; DoD 4140.26-M, DoD 4100.39-M, AFMCM 23-3.\nProficiency with the Web, MS Office, and SharePoint.\nExpert functional and technical skills as required.\nRequirements\nRequired Qualifications\n Minimum of eight (8) years of experience in Air Force Supply Chain Management. \n Demonstrated experience supporting logistics planning, coordination, or program execution in a military or defense environment. \n Strong written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to produce professional guidance, reports, memorandums, and briefings. \nAbility to coordinate across multiple functional areas and maintain visibility on competing priorities and schedules. \nActive Secret Clearance\nPreferred Qualifications\n Experience supporting installation-level bed-down, deployment, or mission transition activities. \n Associate's Degree (A Bachelor's degree is preferred) and 5+ years of work-related experience or a combination of both. CCAF degree can substitute for Associate's Degree from a College or University.\nFamiliarity with aircraft sustainment planning processes and AFMC Supply Chain processes. \n Experience working with Wing and Major Command level supply chain entities. \n Background in Air Force or defense logistics environments strongly preferred. \n Proven ability to support senior leaders with concise, accurate, and timely information. \nKnowledge, Skills, and Abilities\n Strong understanding of aircraft logistics, maintenance, and sustainment operations. \n Ability to track multiple actions simultaneously and ensure timely follow-through. \n Skilled in preparing executive-level written products and oral briefings. \n Strong coordination and organizational skills with close attention to detail. \n Ability to identify conflicts and recommend solutions in complex operational environments. \n Professional judgment and the ability to communicate effectively with leadership and cross-functional
