Come join a workforce where we put you first!\nJOB SUMMARY: A highly motivated, skilled Senior RF Engineering Technician who can not only execute production level testing but also support new production introduction (NPI). NPI includes breadboarding prototypes for engineers, transitioning complex RF modules to full rate production and assisting in setup and calibration of test stands. In addition, this role will train production technicians on products and work with engineers to optimize test stands and datasheets for technician ease. Other responsibilities include building switch boxes, characterizing prototypes and supporting debug of RF modules.\nCOMPENSATION RANG E: The expected compensation range for this position is $90,000 - $130,000.00 annually.\nESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:\nExperience with RF circuitry (amplifiers, mixers, integrated microwave assemblies) down to the component level. \nExperienced in use of various test instruments, with emphasis on RF testing including use of network analyzers, spectrum analyzers, signal generators, power meters, power supplies, DVMs.\nAssist engineers in product design, development, and production.\nExperience working under a microscope.\nExperience hand tuning RF modules for return loss and gain flatness.\nVerify, calibrate, and de-bug RF test setups.\nAssist with test fixture development and documentation.\nAssist in failure analysis, troubleshooting, rework/repair of non-conforming products.\nPromote and support Lean Manufacturing and Continuous Improvement activities in Manufacturing.\nSignificant level of self-motivation and desire to learn new skills\nREQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:\nAssociate Degree in Electrical or Computer Engineering (optional if over 4 years of RF technician experience) or equivalent, AND\n7 years of experience in an electronics manufacturing environment/ Equivalent military experience.\nOR Combination of education and experience.\nAbility to obtain and maintain a secret clearance.\nPREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:\nComputer skills as well as Microsoft Office: Outlook, Word, Excel, etc.\nKnowledge of commonly used concepts, practices, and procedures within electronic assembly field\nPerform hand soldering down to 0402 size components, ability to obtain IPC Certification in time\nAbility to read schematics and make redlines per engineering guidance\nAbility to prioritize several tasks and work with a cross functional team\nHighly skilled with use of common hand tools and internal specialized tooling and fixtures.
