Come join a workforce where we put you first!\nJOB SUMMARY: The Technician II examines and tests filters, hybrids, VCO’s and IMA’s for conformance with dimensional and performance specifications, using precision measuring instruments. This includes troubleshooting products, equipment and process issues, performing acceptance testing, documenting fixtures, equipment maintenance, and updating process documentation. The Technician will also assist engineers with projects through building or procuring test equipment, performing testing and process validations. The candidate will also work closely with engineering and operations to support and improve manufacturing processes.\nCOMPENSATION RANGE: $24.00 to $28.00 per hour\nESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:\nInspect, measure and test products using electronic measuring equipment and microscope.\nInterpret test schedule, work orders, test manuals, performance specifications, wiring diagrams and schematics to determine testing procedure and equipment to be used. \nConnect and tune units using test equipment such as: VOM, power supply, signal generator, frequency meter, network analyzer, spectrum analyzer and environmental chamber. \nPerforms Final acceptance testing in accordance with customer specifications.\nInspect products and processes for flaws and identifies areas of improvement\nAssist in failure analysis, troubleshooting, rework/repair of non-conforming manufactured product to determine root cause.\nAnalyze test results using engineering specifications and calculator\nPromote and support Lean Manufacturing and Continuous Improvement activities in Manufacturing.\nAssist production with troubleshooting.\nRecord defects and return unit to assembly department for repair.\nAssist in training other technicians.\nOther duties as assigned by Supervisor.\nREQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:\nEducation: High School Diploma, associate degree or Equivalent Microelectronics Experience\nExperience Years: 1-3 years in a related field\nExperience Type: Electrical Engineering or Technology OR Equivalent combination of education and experience\nKnowledge of test equipment like Network analyzers, Spectrum analyzers, signal generators, etc.\nAbility to read technical schematics, blueprints and electrical drawings.\nAble to do basic math in all units of measure using whole numbers, common fractions and decimals.\nDESIRED QUALIFICATIONS:\nElectrical background\nMechanical aptitude\nExperience in testing processes\nComputer spreadsheet knowledge\nAS9100 experience\nWORK ENVIRONMENT: Manufacturing Floor- Clean Room Environment\nPHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: \nAble to sit at work station/microscope 8+ hours per day\nLift and/or move 25 pounds\nGeneral vision abilities to include: close vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception \nEqual Opportunity Employer/Protected Veterans/Individuals with Disabilities\nThe contractor will not discharge or in any other manner discriminate against employees or applicants because they have inquired about, discussed, or disclosed their own pay or the pay of another employee or applicant.
