The successful candidate will be the first point of contact for our patients and will play a key role in ensuring the smooth running of the surgery’s reception area.\nHours and location:\nLocation: 1A Orwell Park Heights, Templeogue, Dublin, D6W AD14\nFlexibility is required, Monday-Sunday\nHours: minimum 9 hours per week\nShift is as follows: 3:00pm-6pm\nStart date: Immediate start:\nKey Responsibilities:\nAnswer incoming phone calls in a polite and professional manner, directing queries as appropriate.\nWelcome and assist patients attending the surgery.\nManage appointment bookings and patient check-ins.\nHandle filing, record keeping, and general administrative tasks.\nMaintain accurate and up-to-date patient records in line with confidentiality policies.\nProvide excellent communication between patients, staff, and external providers.\nSupport the day-to-day reception operations and assist with ad-hoc duties as required.\nSkills & Requirements:\nPrevious reception or administrative experience preferred (medical setting an advantage).\nStrong communication and interpersonal skills with a friendly, professional manner.\nGood organisational and multitasking abilities.\nBasic IT and telephone system skills.\nAbility to maintain confidentiality at all times.\nReliable and flexible with a proactive approach to work.\nHours & Benefits:\nPart-time: 3 days per week, 3pm - 6pm.
