Principal Contracting Officer, the consultant will support the full procurement cycle, from solicitation and bid evaluation through to award and contract administration, while serving as a point of contact for contractors and internal customers.\nRole Duties and Responsibilities\nHandle contractual matters for competitive and sole source procurement, including drafting, coordinating and releasing solicitations, evaluating and analysing bids, holding discussions with bidders and supporting contract award\nLiaise with contractors to ensure compliance and timely performance of contract tasks\nProcess contract changes and amendments and carry out contract administration\nReview business cases (requirements, benefits and options) and recommend appropriate procurement routes, such as open market or collaborative frameworks\nInvestigate, resolve or escalate procurement issues\nImplement supplier service improvement actions and programmes\nSupport internal customers on
