The agency was established in 2012 and is headquartered in Brussels, Belgium.\nThe NCIA provides a wide range of services, including:\nCyber Security: The NCIA provides advanced cybersecurity solutions to protect NATO's communication networks and information systems against cyber threats.\nCommand and Control Systems: The NCIA develops and maintains the systems used by NATO's military commanders to plan and execute operations.\nSatellite Communications: The NCIA provides satellite communications services to enable secure and reliable communications between NATO forces.\nElectronic Warfare: The NCIA provides electronic warfare services to support NATO's mission to detect, deny, and defeat threats to its communication networks.\nInformation Management: The NCIA manages NATO's information technology infrastructure, including its databases, applications, and servers.\nOverall, the NCIA plays a critical role in ensuring the security and effectiveness of NATO's communication and information technology capabilities.\nThe program\nAssistance and Advisory Service (AAS)\nThe NATO Communications and Information Agency (NCI Agency) is NATO’s principal C3 capability deliverer and CIS service provider. It provides, maintains and defends the NATO enterprise-wide information technology infrastructure to enable Allies to consult together under Article IV, and, when required, stand together in the face of attack under Article V.\nTo provide these critical services, in the modern evolving dynamic environment the NCI Agency needs to build and maintain high performance-engaged workforce. The NCI Agency workforce strategically consists of three major categorise's: NATO International Civilians (NIC)'s, Military (Mil), and Interim Workforce Consultants (IWC)'s. The IWCs are a critical part of the overall NCI Agency workforce and make up approximately 15 percent of the total workforce.\nRole ID -AIRCOM-0002 \nRole Background \nThis requirement addresses the need for proper accountability and management of Deployable Communication and Information Systems (D-CIS) currently deposited at the DACCC. \nRole Duties and Responsibilities \nDACCC requires support services to assist the Combat Service Support Division (CSS) in identifying, cataloguing, and inventorying all D-CIS equipment (e.g., DADR, GAG). \nThe contractor shall: \nIdentify and inventory all D-CIS-related equipment within DACCC facilities; \nDetermine the appropriate system of record (e.g., NDSS, NCIS) for each item; \nInput all relevant data into the appropriate system; \nConduct physical inspections of warehouses and storage containers every two months; \nEnsure all items are identified, labeled, and properly recorded; \nApply barcodes to all identified items and register them in the system; \nSupport the execution of a complete floor-to-book inventory; \nProvide administrative and analytical support to the CSS Division in relation to the tasks described above, including the collection and consolidation of data, as well as the preparation of reports and inventories in compliance with NATO Financial Rules and ISPAS recommendations. \nEssential Skills, Experience and Certifications \nRequired Expertise: \nNATO Depot and Supply System (NDSS); \nInventory systems like Enterprise Business Application used by NCIA and manufacture applications for managing the radar systems; \nTelecommunication/CIS equipment identification (e.g., DADR, GAG). \nRequired Qualifications: \nAt least two years of proven experience in inventory and asset management; \nDemonstrated expertise in relevant systems of record; \nKnowledge of item identification and data recording processes; \nExperience in international or governmental environments (desirable); \nHave at least two years of familiarity with Telecommunication/CIS systems and associated components;
