The agency was established in 2012 and is headquartered in Brussels, Belgium.\nThe NCIA provides a wide range of services, including:\nCyber Security: The NCIA provides advanced cybersecurity solutions to protect NATO's communication networks and information systems against cyber threats.\nCommand and Control Systems: The NCIA develops and maintains the systems used by NATO's military commanders to plan and execute operations.\nSatellite Communications: The NCIA provides satellite communications services to enable secure and reliable communications between NATO forces.\nElectronic Warfare: The NCIA provides electronic warfare services to support NATO's mission to detect, deny, and defeat threats to its communication networks.\nInformation Management: The NCIA manages NATO's information technology infrastructure, including its databases, applications, and servers.\nOverall, the NCIA plays a critical role in ensuring the security and effectiveness of NATO's communication and information technology capabilities.\nThe program\nAssistance and Advisory Service (AAS)\nThe NATO Communications and Information Agency (NCI Agency) is NATO’s principal C3 capability deliverer and CIS service provider. It provides, maintains and defends the NATO enterprise-wide information technology infrastructure to enable Allies to consult together under Article IV, and, when required, stand together in the face of attack under Article V.\nTo provide these critical services, in the modern evolving dynamic environment the NCI Agency needs to build and maintain high performance-engaged workforce. The NCI Agency workforce strategically consists of three major categorise's: NATO International Civilians (NIC)'s, Military (Mil), and Interim Workforce Consultants (IWC)'s. The IWCs are a critical part of the overall NCI Agency workforce and make up approximately 15 percent of the total workforce.\nVTC / Audio-Visual Technician\nRole Background\nThe VTC/AV Technician keeps collaboration, video-teleconference and audio-visual services operational and usable, including VIP VTC facilitation for a senior command group. The role covers session preparation and attendance, Level 0/1 support, equipment configuration and checks, and coordination of incident resolution with CSU and service-line technicians.\nRole Duties and Responsibilities\nProvide VIP VTC facilitation for the command group: agree the session schedule with the front offices, set up sessions on behalf of users, power on and test equipment before each session.\nAttend VTC sessions with senior leaders and provide Level 0 support during the session.\nRaise incidents through the centralised service desk and liaise with CSU and service-line technicians to provide Level 1/1+ support for resolution.\nInstall, configure and test VTC endpoints and meeting-room audio-visual equipment; perform routine checks and report potential incidents.\nSupport video walls, video matrix switching, audio systems and associated cabling in meeting rooms and operations centres.\nSupport Cisco WebEx, Microsoft Teams and other platforms for digital and hybrid events.\nKeep client software and firmware current through approved updates, record work in the ITSM tool and propose service improvements.\nEssential Skills, Experience and Certifications\nVocational qualification in electronics, audio-visual or IT, or equivalent experience.\nAt least three years of experience as a Level 1/1+ support technician for VTC, collaboration or audio-visual systems.\nHands-on experience with Cisco, Poly and Microsoft collaboration technologies.\nUnderstanding of AV signal flow, physical connections and basic IP networking.\nExperience using an ITSM ticketing system and observing service KPIs.\nProfessional conduct and discretion when working directly with General Officers; familiarity with military protocol.\nDesirable Skills, Experience and Certifications\nExperience supporting VTC on classified networks (NATO SECRET).\nAV control systems (Crestron, Extron); AVIXA CTS or vendor certification.\nVideo wall and video matrix experience; live-event support.\nPrevious work in a NATO or military headquarters.\nLanguage Proficiency\nProfessional working proficiency in English, spoken and written (NATO STANAG 6001 SLP 3333 or equivalent desirable).\nWorking Location\nIzmir, Türkiye, with support to the CIS Support Element in Ankara and other NATO locations as tasked.\nWorking Policy\nOn-site, business hours; up to 25% of the service may be required outside business hours, scheduled in advance.\nTravel\nTravel to other NATO sites in the area of responsibility may be required.\nWork Eligibility\nMust hold, or be able to obtain before the start date, the right to work and reside in Türkiye (work and residence permit or Turkish citizenship).\nSecurity Clearance\nValid NATO SECRET personnel security clearance (or national SECRET clearance recognised for NATO SECRET) held at the start of the assignment;
