Partnering closely with our Account Executives and Post-Sales Legal Solutions team, you'll ensure prospects and customers have a frictionless experience, from first demo through trial to close, and post-close setup. You'll own the technical side of the buying journey: understanding enterprise customer requirements, delivering demos and trials that address them, answering product and technical questions with confidence, guiding prospects through setup, and giving prospective customers the assurance that Spellbook fits securely into their practice. This role is fully remote and open to candidates located in the United States or Canada.\nRESPONSIBILITIES\nPartner with Account Executives to support prospects throughout their evaluation, serving as the technical trusted advisor across the sales cycle.\n\nUnderstand enterprise customer requirements and use them to plan and deliver successful demos and trials.\n\nGuide prospects through self-service setup steps and handle basic user and integration provisioning so trials start smoothly.\n\nField product, technical, security, and data privacy questions from prospects and customers, bringing in internal teams when needed.\n\nPrepare demo and trial environments, including uploading sample agreements tailored to the prospect's use cases.\n\nFacilitate document and data migrations for new and prospective customers in partnership with internal teams.\n\nTriage bugs and functionality issues affecting in-trial accounts, escalating to Engineering and other internal teams when needed and owning issues through resolution.\n\nLead technical demonstrations and proofs of concept that address prospects' unique business objectives.\n\nWork cross-functionally to complete RFPs and questionnaires as part of the sales cycle.\n\nCreate and maintain technical content and documentation so prospects and customers are successful using Spellbook.\n\nBecome a product expert across the Spellbook platform and understand the competitor landscape.\n\nPerform any additional tasks assigned by management that contribute to the improvement of the sales team or achievement of revenue goals, including but not limited to attending events/conferences or hosting internal training sessions.\n\nQUALIFICATIONS\n2+ years of experience in a solutions engineering, sales engineering, technical support, or similar customer-facing technical role, ideally in SaaS or B2B environments.\n\nFamiliarity with security and data privacy frameworks (e.g., SOC 2, GDPR, PIPEDA) and the ability to articulate their business benefits.\n\nExperience troubleshooting application setup, account setup, and basic user provisioning issues.\n\nExperience configuring software integrations for customer trials or onboarding.\n\nAble to clearly articulate technical concepts and business benefits to both technical and non-technical audiences, including lawyers and IT teams.\n\nStrong ability to understand customer pain points and position solutions that meet their needs.\n\nA self-starter with a bias towards action, energized by a fast-paced environment and able to thrive in an unstructured one.\n\nEffective verbal and written communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively within a distributed team.\n\nProficient with tools like HubSpot, or equivalent, for tracking and managing customer interactions.\n\nMust be legally entitled to work in the United States or Canada.\n\nNICE TO HAVES\nExperience in a startup environment, demonstrating adaptability and resilience in fast-paced settings.\n\nFamiliarity with the legal tech space, understanding its unique challenges and opportunities.\n\nPrevious experience in a high-growth scaling tech company, showcasing your ability to navigate rapid change and drive results.\n\nExperience delivering product demonstrations and technical presentations to business and technical stakeholders.\n\nExperience deploying or administering Microsoft 365 / Word add-in environments.\n\nComfort using AI tools responsibly to support tasks such as research, drafting, or data review.\n\nWHY JOIN SPELLBOOK?\nEmbrace autonomy and accountability in a flexible work environment; we focus on outcomes and empower you to determine how to get the job done\n\nAccess our company-paid group benefits for you and your family, with $1,000 towards mental health support\n\nDisconnect during our holiday closure and take advantage of our generous time off policies throughout the year\n\nEnjoy monthly paid meals, an annual wellness allowance to support your well-being and parental leave top-ups as your family grows\n\nSecure your stake in our success; you’ll receive competitive stock option grants as a pivotal early employee\n\nInclusive Hiring at Spellbook\nWe are committed to creating an inclusive and supportive candidate experience.
