With design and manufacturing sites in North America, Europe and Asia, we have become the preferred provider of high voltage power solutions for OEMs pushing the boundaries of technology around the world by designing and producing the products they need to power progress.\nObjective/Purpose of the Function:Implement health strategies that promote the physical, mental, and social well-being of employees to reduce absenteeism due to illness and injury recurrence.\nDevelop and execute a strategic plan to support and continuously improve knowledge, skills, and the learning environment in a mid-sized, high-mix multinational engineering and manufacturing organization.\nAuthority:\nRefer to FMI-143 for individual standard operating procedures related to management system authorities/responsibilities.\nPrincipal Responsibilities:\nImplements occupational health strategies for employee health prevention.\nImplements epidemiological program controls.\nImplements occupational health and health prevention campaigns.\nCaptures relevant information from medical consultations.\nAssists in the preparation of reports and performance charts (KPIs) for the medical area.\nAssists in the management of employees who attend medical consultations.\nAssists in the investigation of incidents and in the preparation of incident reports, focusing on impacts on employee health and well-being.\nProvides annual training courses to the first aid team.\nTeaches occupational health topics in induction sessions for new staff.\nProvides training courses on occupational health and health prevention, as applicable.\nCarries out the actions described in the annual nursing staff activities program.\nMonitors the area's annual budget monthly.\nUses allocated financial resources for the department's proper performance.\nProvides information for inspections and audits by the competent authority.\nAttends audits of applicable management systems.\nComply with the Health, Safety, and Environment Policy, following the procedures and instructions applicable to its activities.\nCompetencies / Abilities:\nRange/Level: (1-Basic, 2-Intermidate, 3- Advanced, 4-Expert)\nBachelor's/Technical degree in nursing.\nMinimum of 1 year of experience in the position.\nKnowledge of first aid. (1)\nKnowledge of ISO 9001, ISO 14001, and ISO 45001. (1)\nKnowledge of general medicine. (2)\nKnowledge of occupational medicine. (1)\nExperience in diagnosis and treatment.
