Highly knowledgeable of electronic circuitry and experienced in a variety of testing methods and tools, the Production Test Engineer performs independently and communicates directly with Production Management and Manufacturing Engineering to support a culture of continual improvement\nEDUCATION/CERTIFICATION\nBachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering or Electronics Technology or equivalent plus 2 years of experience in testing and troubleshooting electronic assemblies OR\nMaster’s Degree in Electrical Engineering RESPONSIBILITIES\nTest and calibrate high voltage power supplies to ensure completed units meet customer specifications for performance and safety.\nTroubleshoot and repair high voltage power supplies. Record Functional Data during the various testing phases, analyzing results for test validity and design improvements.\nWork with design engineering on technical issues and recommend changes to ATP’s and test methods on new, existing, and development products.\nAssist in developing ATP’s, Test Fixtures, and test loads.\nParticipate in the Failure Analysis process to determine Root Causes.\nAssist B and C technicians with troubleshooting when required Assit in other department activities as required. May participate in New Product introductions\nOur good faith estimate of the hourly rate range for this role is $43.00 to $50.00. Exact compensation may vary based on skills, experience, and other factors.
