This role is responsible for managing strategic improvement projects, supporting operational readiness, and fostering a culture of continuous improvement across Spellman Plant 4.\nKey Responsibilities\nLead Lean transformation and continuous improvement projects across manufacturing and support functions.\nIdentify, analyze, and eliminate process inefficiencies using Lean methodologies and data-driven decision-making.\nFacilitate Value Stream Mapping (VSM), Kaizen events, 5S, Standard Work, Visual Management, SMED, and Root Cause Analysis activities.\nDrive initiatives focused on productivity improvement, quality enhancement, cost reduction, inventory optimization, and lead-time reduction.\nLead cross-functional projects from initiation through implementation utilizing Project Charters, project schedules, and milestone tracking.\nDevelop and maintain project plans, Gantt charts, critical path analyses, resource plans, and risk mitigation strategies to ensure successful and timely project execution.\nSupport plant expansion, capacity growth, equipment transfers, new product introductions (NPI), and operational readiness projects aligned with business objectives.\nEstablish, monitor, and report key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure project effectiveness and operational performance.\nCollaborate closely with Operations, Engineering, Quality, Supply Chain, and Production teams to achieve project goals and sustain improvements.\nPromote a culture of continuous improvement, accountability, employee engagement, and structured problem-solving throughout the organization.\nTrain, coach, and mentor employees in Lean principles, project management methodologies, and continuous improvement best practices.\nQualifications\nBachelor's Degree in Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.\nMinimum of 3 years of experience in Lean Manufacturing, Continuous Improvement, Operational Excellence, Industrial Engineering, or related disciplines.\nStrong knowledge of Lean tools and methodologies, including VSM, Kaizen, 5S, Standard Work, SMED, A3 Problem Solving, and Root Cause Analysis.\nDemonstrated experience managing cross-functional projects in a manufacturing environment.\nProficiency in project management practices, including Project Charter development, Gantt Charts, Critical Path Analysis, project scheduling, and progress tracking.\nExperience using ERP/MES systems and manufacturing performance metrics to support decision-making.\nStrong analytical, leadership, communication, and organizational skills.\nIntermediate English proficiency required; advanced English proficiency preferred (written and verbal).\nLean Six Sigma Green Belt or Black Belt certification preferred.\nLocation: Spellman Plant 4, Matamoros, Tamaulipas\nDepartment: Operations / Continuous Improvement\nPosition Type: Full-Time\nWe at Spellman High Voltage Electronics Corporation believe that each individual is entitled to equal employment opportunities without regard to race, color, creed, gender, sexual orientation, gender identity, marital status, national origin, age, veteran status or disability.
