With design and manufacturing sites in North America, Europe and Asia, we have become the preferred provider of high voltage power solutions for OEMs pushing the boundaries of technology around the world by designing and producing the products they need to power progress.\nPosition Objective/Purpose:Supply the necessary tooling to Vipros/Laser, CNC Mill, CNC Lathe, Haas Router, and Thermwood machines, and manage tooling according to inventory and by system for efficient model changeovers and optimized setup time.\nDevelop and execute a strategic plan to support and continuously improve knowledge, skills, and the learning environment in a mid-sized, high-mix multinational engineering and manufacturing organization.\nAuthorities:\nRefer to FMI-143 for individual standard operating procedures related to management system authorities/responsibilities.\nMain Responsibilities:\nReview dispatch at the beginning and end of shifts, identifying each order to be closed using the whiteboard as a work tool.\nReview the condition of the tool, fixtures, and measuring equipment at the beginning and end of shifts.\nSupply tools to Vipros/Laser, CNC Mill, CNC Lathe, Haas Router, and Thermwood machines, and secondary operations according to the production plan.\nMount tools in holders and adjust their height.\nMaintain, control, and organize tool and fixture stock/inventory.\nTool maintenance, sharpening, and repair.\nReplace damaged tools and generate requisitions if necessary.\nTOGU II machine maintenance (Stamping).\nCompetencies and skills:\nWeighting/Level: (1-Basic, 2-Intermediate, 3-Advanced, 4-Specialized)\nCompleted technical or high school diploma.\nMinimum of 1 year of experience in the tooling area or similar position.\nBasic Office suite management\nEquipment management: TOGU II (Stamping)\nTool knowledge on Vipros/Laser AMADA machines, CNC Mill, CNC Lathe, Haas Router, and Thermwood\nKnowledge of measuring tools: Vernier calipers, tape measure, plug gauge, ring gauge, and micrometer\nKnowledge of the SHVWIP system\n• Drawing interpretation\nWe at Spellman High Voltage Electronics Corporation believe that each individual is entitled to equal employment opportunities without regard to race, color, creed, gender, sexual orientation, gender identity, marital status, national origin, age, veteran status or disability.
