You will act as an independent auditor, consultant, and technology owner, reporting directly to the Head of Engineering.\nThis position is an excellent opportunity for a Technical Lead or Project Lead to step into a Director-level role within a well-established environment.\nResponsibilities:\nDirect technical aspects of development and production, oversee quality management.\nPromote best practices, technical standards, and the adoption of relevant tools.\nIdentify technical risks early and provide proactive solutions.\nDefine and drive the strategy for core project technology (shared engine, tools, and build system).\nMentor Leads and guide Senior Engineers on technology choices, architecture, and design decisions.\nMake hiring decisions for Senior and Lead candidates.\nContribute to the assessment of new project opportunities and bid proposals.\nProvide necessary support for project kickoffs, including advising on team composition.\nInitiate knowledge-sharing sessions for software engineers across the department.\nRepresent and promote the Company during customer calls, on-site visits, and industry events.\nRequirements\n7+ years of professional software development experience.\n2+ years of experience leading an entire game development team of 8+ software engineers.\nProfessional development experience in C++.\n Proven experience with mobile development, publishing, and platform limitations (hardware, software, and dependencies).\nSignificant development experience in the following domains: UI, Gameplay, Engine).\nSignificant experience fixing low-level issues (memory, multi-threading, obscure crashes).\nExperience with task planning, estimation, and tracking.\nExperience mentoring or hiring Senior engineers.\nFamiliarity with Art and Production workflows within game development.\nStrong organizational and communication skills.\nProfessional fluency in English (spoken and written).\nPassion for gaming.\nWould be a plus:\nDevelopment experience in AAA games.\nProfessional experience with Unreal Engine.\nProficiency in Python, C#, Java, or TypeScript.\nStrong skills in performance and memory optimization.\nExperience with back-end development.\nExperience setting up CI/CD tools (e.g., TeamCity, Jenkins).\nExperience managing VCS branch structure, preferably in Perforce.\nExperience with Console development and certification (PlayStation, Xbox, Nintendo Switch).\nExperience working within globally distributed teams.\nExperience working with external outsourcing partners.\nLive Service game ownership experience.\nProduct owner mindset.\nDeep understanding of management methodologies (Scrum, Waterfall).\nBenefits\nWorking with an international team of world-class professionals on exciting and challenging projects \nLearning & Development opportunities -
