You will also build the AI workflows that make documentation faster to produce. This role blends strong writing skills with hands-on AI skills. You will use tools like Claude to draft, check, and publish content - cutting the time it takes to go from idea to published doc, without losing quality.\nWhat You'll Do\nWrite and Maintain Docs\nWrite and update user guides, help articles, release notes, and process docs.\nKeep content clear, correct, and consistent with our style guide.\nWork with engineers and subject matter experts to gather the right source material.\nBuild and Run AI Workflows\n Set up and manage AI tools in Azure DevOps and related platforms (Claude, Copilot Studio, Power Platform, Azure AI Services).\nWrite and refine prompts and agent instructions that generate first-draft content.\nCheck AI-generated content for accuracy, completeness, and consistency before it publishes.\nTrack how much time AI saves, and report on it.\nImprove the Process\nFind steps in the writing and development process that AI can speed up.\nBuild a docs-as-code workflow, so documentation gets written alongside the code, not after it.\nSet up context-sensitive help early in development, not at the end.\nTest new formats, like AI-generated videos or product tours.\nWork With Others\nPartner with technical writing leads, SMEs, QA, and dev teams.\nHelp other writers and teams adopt AI tools and new workflows.\nDocument your own processes, so others can follow them.\nWhat You Need\nA bachelor's degree in English, Technical Communication, Computer Science, or a related field. Equivalent experience works too.\n5+ years writing technical docs, doing QA, or working in software development.\nHands-on experience with Azure DevOps: pipelines, workflows, and AI integrations.\nHands-on experience with an AI platform like Claude, Copilot Studio, or Azure AI Services - real production use, not casual use.\nExperience improving technical workflows.\nNice to Have\n Experience writing prompts or building AI agents, ideally paired with a specific technical domain.\nExperience checking AI output for errors and building a review process around it.\nBasic scripting or API experience.\nExperience with docs-as-code, DITA, XML, or a content management system.\nExperience working across multiple products or business areas.\nOther Skills\nYou think in systems and look for ways to automate work.\nYou catch errors.
