Our solutions enable customers to automate critical processes, monitor emissions, manage chemical data, and maintain compliance across global operations.\nWe are seeking a Data Developer to join our Data Content Development team. In this role, you will work closely with software developers, regulatory analysts, and product teams to design, develop, and maintain data solutions that support Sphera's product stewardship and regulatory compliance applications.\nThe ideal candidate is a strong problem-solver with experience in C# and SQL who enjoys working with complex datasets and translating business requirements into scalable technical solutions. An interest in regulatory compliance, chemical data, or sustainability-related domains is highly valued.\nKey Responsibilities\nDesign, develop, and maintain data-driven solutions within existing application frameworks.\nAnalyze business and technical requirements and translate them into efficient, scalable implementations.\nWrite, optimize, and maintain SQL queries, scripts, and data transformation processes.\nTroubleshoot, debug, and resolve application and data-related issues.\nCollaborate with regulatory analysts and cross-functional teams to ensure data quality and accuracy.\nContribute to system enhancements, performance improvements, and ongoing product development initiatives.\nParticipate in estimation, planning, testing, and deployment activities.\nSupport the maintenance and evolution of large-scale regulatory data products.\nRequired Qualifications\nEducation\nBachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field.\nExperience\n5+ years of experience in software development using object-oriented programming languages, preferably C#.\nStrong experience working with SQL and relational databases.\nExperience designing and supporting data-centric applications.\nFamiliarity with large datasets and data processing concepts.\nPreferred Qualifications\nExperience with big data technologies and data management practices.\nKnowledge of XML, XSLT, Oracle Database, and Git.\nExperience writing technical specifications and documentation.\nKnowledge of regulatory, chemical, environmental, or product stewardship domains.\nAbility to work with multilingual datasets.\nSkills & Competencies\nStrong analytical and problem-solving skills.\nExcellent attention to detail and commitment to data accuracy.\nSelf-driven and proactive approach to work.\nAbility to work independently while collaborating effectively within a team.\nStrong organizational and time-management skills.\nEffective verbal and written communication skills.\nFluency in English; additional languages are a plus.\nCuriosity and willingness to learn new technologies and business domains.\nReports to: Manager, Data Content Development\nSphera is proud to be an Equal Opportunity Employer.
