Ideally, you have worked with flying robots.\nWhat you’ll do\nBe one of the first members of a high performing team, designing and developing autonomous countermeasures to protect countries from aerial threats\n\nDesign, develop and test system architectures and electronic boards, both internally and with external partners, with high speed peripherals and sensors\n\nBring up boards and systems, ensuring that all intended functional and performance requirements are met\n\nWork with your colleagues to integrate feedback during design reviews\n\nTroubleshoot and debug problems, ensuring that issues are addressed as they appear\n\nEnsure the designs adhere to the industrial quality standards by drafting test plans and working with test houses for validation and certification\n\nDraft production level documentation for the entire product lifecycle\n\nBe a team player and a mentor, being available to support the team when needed\n\nLocation: Onsite in Brussels, Belgium. Our office is close to Central Station.\nReports to: Chief Technology Officer\nRequirements\nBachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent\n\nAt least 4 years of relevant experience, with significant ownership of complex designs\n\nProficiency with Altium Designer and/or Cadence OrCAD/Allegro\n\nDeep electrical engineering skills in both the digital and analog worlds\n\nProficiency with Schematic Capture and PCB Layout design\n\nKnowledge of DFM and reliability issues for complex electronics\n\nExperience in selecting components and creating production ready documentation (BOM, assy, etc.)\n\nHands on, with demonstrated ability in system bring up and internally prototyping boards\n\nProficient with lab equipment (oscilloscope, spectrum analyzer, etc.)\n\nYou are a self starter, able to work in a high ambiguity environment and willing to take up new challenges\n\nExcellent written and spoken English, French or Dutch is a plus\n\nPreferred Qualifications\nAbility to write firmware to bring up boards and PC software to test them\n\nExperience with FPGAs\n\nExperience with Embedded Linux (Yocto)\n\nExperience interfacing with EMS and with EOL tests implementation\n\nExperience with one or more of the following: RF/antenna design, motor control, rigid flex design, electro optical systems, SI/PDN simulation\n\nWhat we offer\nAttractive compensation\n\nYear-end bonus eligibility\n\nStock Options Plan eligibility\n\nMobility Budget\n\n32 days of holidays\n\nMeal vouchers\n\nPrivate Health insurance\n\nWe are building a core team of hard-working people.
